Good morning LL!

Kismet seems to be settling in quite nicely into his dosecrease...amazing what a tiny extra drop can do. He is feeling just fine this morning, happy, energetic, good appy, good LB action, breathing easy. He started smacking around his red mouse, and as soon as I grabbed my phone for a video, he stopped. He did give it a few more smacks with the camera rolling, but is a bit camera shy, so he picked it up in his mouth and took it into the other room to play :lol: (see video below) I love how he carries his babies around, especially when he takes them up and down the stairs. I find his toys in the oddest places.

And now for a classic Kizzy tale. When DH and I first moved into together into his apt just over 3 years ago, Kismet was about 6 months old, and the most hyper kitty ever. It was our first Christmas together, and Kizzy's first ever. We got him some xmas themed toys, and he took a particular interest in his Frosty the snowman. He would beat the heck out of poor Frosty! He body slammed him, tossed him in the air like a killer whale throwing a seal, and did the famous grab and rapid fire kangaroo kick. One morning, when DH got up to go to the bathroom, he found Frosty floating face down in the toilet :lol: :lol: :lol: I so wish he would have gotten a picture. He laughed so hard when he tried to tell me the story, I couldn't understand a word he was saying. Poor Frosty... he had a rough life. RIP Frosty.

Sending healing vines out to Rueben, Gobbles, Noni, Tip, Shadow, and feel better blue vines to Mannie. Thinking of Linda, and continuing to send peaceful vines to her.

Poor Frosty! :lol:

I often find shadow's little pom pom critters in her food bowl or water bowl, but no toilets. :lol:

It's amazing what a dose drop increase will do. Mags is looking forward to visiting Kismet at the Lagoon, if she stays long enough!

Hi guys .. such a nice start to the day! Loved the video too .. mocha had a toy that she was crazy mad over too .. some small little bear type thing, with these dangly legs and arms .. she would go crazy for it so we called it crazy legs .. then one day a leg was missing .. so it became crazy leg .. then that leg disappeared .. so it became crazy arms .. then arm, now it's just called crazy :lol: have a great day guys!

Hi Rhiannon --- Kismet has tried to drown his mouse in his water bowl a couple of times, too :lol: I've never had to deal with toys in the food bowl, though, but that's probably only because Kismet doesn't usually leave anything leftover ;-)

Hi Ann, He made it! He is looking forward to splashing around with Maggie for awhile... better splashing in the lagoon than in a toilet :lol:

Hi Devon, I love the story about Crazy! They're so funny how they have their favorite toys. Kismet has toys out the wazoo, but loves his two red mice (and our late friend, Frosty) the best. They're such kids.

And loving this +2! Woo Hoo! :mrgreen:

Great day for Kizzy...and such a cute video! A couple of my kitties carry stuff, too...I love it. My Zen actually plays fetch, and drops his fuzzy little mice right on our feet!

Nice choice of colors today Kismet! I agree with him: red belongs on a mousie-toy, not a spreadsheet!

Kizzy! What bootiful numbers for a bootiful black baby! Snowshoe has a red mouse he loves too...he ignores the green one.

Courtney, so cute with Frosty, RIP poor thing...our ShihTzu we lost last summer also had a stuffed snowman that was her baby. She dragged it around and cuddled it all the time - until play time. It flew all over this house, got 'shook', pulled, dragged...it's still around here somewhere minus the heart it was holding, that left long ago.... :-D Must admit, never had one in the toilet tho'...I'm spoiled, my DH puts the lid down every time! KT puts everything in the big water bowl when he gets tired of playing with it. His favorite thing is wadded up paper - it gets very mushy in water....

One of my former kitties, Gracie (GA), would leave her toys for me in very unexpected places. The best was when I found one of her toys in my suitcase. I was traveling and I think she wanted to be sure I brought her toy home.

Hi Michelle, Kizzy would love to show Mannie how it's done, and then maybe Mannie can show Kiz how to go on an adventure outside for sniffs. Kismet would lovvvve to go outside, but there's a cat killer somewhere in our neighborhood. :evil: A few years ago, about 12 cats showed up dead because some a$$%&(#$ scattered poisoned food. My neighbor to the right lost 2 kittens, and the neighbor on the other side lost her 14 y/o. Stoopid, crazy, evil people. So for safety, he has never been allowed outside.

Hi Amy, That's too cute about Zen! Kismet plays fetch, too! He also jumps/leaps. I've never met another cat who fetched.

Hi Cathy, so true! We've only ever seen the red floor a handful of times, and I hope we never see it again. Red is good for mice only!

Hi Lyresa, I wonder what it is about red? Kismet loves his two red mice best, even though he has a dozen in other colors :lol: And apparently snowmen are very popular, too. How funny that KT leaves his toys in his water bowl... I wonder why they do that?

Oh, sorry Marje! I tried posting it as a Youtube video with the [youtube] url /youtube] code but it wasn't showing up for some reason. I must be doing something wrong, because I can never get them to appear.

The little red mouse came in a Grab Bag I got from Amazon... best $6 I ever spent!

He's a gorgeous boy! My fluffy black civvie Jetzin used to carry things around like that too. It's so cute. I looked after a cat called Thunder for two years who looked just like Kizmet. So shiny and sleek. I watched your testing video too and he's such a good boy for you!

Thanks for the visits, the hang in there support, and the ketone testing advice over the last few days. It's been helpful. I need to stick with blood testing for ketones though because Ang won't use a LB while somebody else is around.

Hi Courtney. Great video of Kismet playing. PF loves those little mice also but Heidi chews their tails off and drops them in the water bowl.

Glad you got the clarification on how to post the YouTube video because I didn't know how to do it either.

Cute video! I like how Kizzy grabs the mouse and ambles out of the room. Leo just kils them and leaves them for dead. :lol:
