Good morning from the night duty bean aka BIC. Boy howdy, will we be glad when MamaLizBean gets home, it's just not the same without us all together, as Tillie would say. I'm doing okay getting everything done in the wee hours of the morning, but every morning, I keep thinking I'm forgetting something - like sleeping! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Zener had one of those "not eating" mornings. He woke me up especially early so I thought he was hungry. No fuds were gone from the over night auto feeder, and after he took his meds and ate a mouthful that was it, even a picnic didn't help. He was a little restless like his tummy was bugging him, so we had a massage. I shot anyway, with cypro on board, and he just ate some while helping with his condo, and is resting comfortably, so all is good....for now. :roll: :? :lol:

Hi Anne,
It must be tough to have to change your schedule so drastically. Good thing you have the Z Man to keep you on your toes! I'm glad that he ate his fuds. And that's a good AMPS.
When does Liz get home?

Hi guys .. I agree, it must be hard to change up your schedule like that .. but it sounds like you are keeping it together and doing a great job! I hope the tummy massages help zener and his appy picks up .. have a great day!

Nice AMPS Zener, have a nice surf all day for sleepy Anne! Belly massages are really nice without a doubt, but Chicken Florentine is better! Hahaha

Thanks to you all for checking in on Zener this morning. We've had five good mornings in a row, so it is not unexpected that crummy tummy would pop up while MamaLizBean is away. With the tummy massage and a little extra cypro, he seems to be back on track with appy and is resting comfortably under the heat vent on top of Versailles, his accessible kitty condo.

Only two more darks until Liz is home. She has one more dark in southern Illinois, then drives 5 hours north to Indianapolis. She will stay Wednesday evening by the airport for an early flight Thursday morning. I pick her up from the shuttle mid-afternoon Thursday. We are all ready to be back together again!

Good job on holding all the AM duties together, Anne. Soon, the family will be complete :-D

I'm glad that Zener finally ate his breffis. Yay for just 2 more darks. I admire the beans who do all this on their own, I too depend on John and really miss him when he goes out of town!

I'm glad the tummy massage helped and Zener's appy is better. It's hard to shoot when they don't want to eat. You're doing a great job as BIC, but I'm sure you'll be happy when Liz gets home.

I guess you are counting down till Thursday ;-) . I hope that Zener will take it easy on you and do some surfs...maybe on the next floor down though, k Z?

I'm glad his appy is better, it's so tough when they won't/can't eat for you. I hope you got a nap in there today sometime! Have a great day :-D

Turn it around Zener - I hear blue is in fashion for dinner time tonight. Sending lots of eating and comfy tummy vines your way.

I hear you on the early mornings. We are starting to get used to getting up at 4:40 every other morning, and the body is taking a while adjusting to that. :shock:

It'll be great to have Liz back in two darks. Seeing family and lots of snow is nice, but home is better.
