Hi there,
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=115207
Well, it has been a week since we helped Ole to the bridge. I am at peace, but very lonely. It comforts me to re read all of your well wishes from Ole's last condo and I revisit them often.
Alex and I went on our ski trip last week as planned. We were celebrating our 17th anniversary. Playing in the snow was cathartic for me, as you know, I love snow. I would cry on the chair lift up the hill, and then smile all of the way down the mountain. We were also celebrating our love and life together, with all of it's ups and downs. Our evening talks of remembering our past and looking towards our future together also was soothing to my sadness.
I worry about Loki, he misses his Ole so much. I decided to see if Fifi, the reclusive Russian Blue that lives in the garage, would be interested in moving back into the house to keep Loki company. It has been a process, but coming along. Fifi still hisses a bit at poor Loki, but not as often. I hope they will come to a comfortable understanding. In the meantime, Loki is constantly at my side when I am home and I give him plenty of cuddles and play time. Fifi also gets lots of lovin' when it suits her. She is a funny old bird.
My thoughts this morning are with all of you and your sugar kitties that are so dear, where ever they are in their FD dance.
Bless you,
Rebekah
