Yesterday, nice day, so she bounced.

3/17 Recap

Another good solarium day today, once the beans finally caved with the last snack. Which took a lot of whining to get them moving. It's a warm one today, so I cracked open the window screens for some fresh breezes. Kitties do love spring time! Neko's resting on the bed with the green towel so I'm hopefully she'll get the hint. I tend to prefer green and blue bedding for Neko.

Hope Neko doesn't bounce too high.
Maybe not a good idea to send her over here for some sun with Sheba---Sheba might let Neko bounce on her trampoline and teach her a few Aussie techniques!:cat:

It was a beautiful day today Wendy, I hope you were out rowing this morning! Okay now Miss Neko, you've had a full day of sunshine, time to slide on down for mamabean!

well... guess we are saving those greens for the night....

how often do you give a snack with that raw food? I was reading that raw food should be offered, taken away, and then offered next meal..... not to leave it around freely to get them to be more likely to eat....
shadow just ain't cooperating....

She went the wrong way. :cat: There is merit to what Rhiannon said about her saving the lows for night time. Fortunately (?) I'm getting up at 4:40AM for rowing anyway. I didn't row this morning but the water looked gorgeous this afternoon.

Neko's last snack is just a 1/2 inch square piece of her raw food. Back when she was on Lantus I was spreading out her meals in the first part of the day and there's no way she'd let me change that tradition now that we are on Levemir. I divide her raw food into mini meals and just give her a portion at a time. Late cycle snacks, she just had one, can be a small piece of raw (an advance on dinner) or a freeze dried meat item. She just had some FD lamb lung - a good source of B vitamins. Due to Neko's acromegaly, I never had any issues switching her to raw. The civie transitioned a little slower. I just started by adding a small bit to his regular wet, mixed in, then slowly increased the percentage.

Neko has her green towel, Rusty has his little green pillow. They have to stay motivated! Glad you had a good day, even though you didn't go rowing. Enjoy the evening,

Ella & Rusty

I'm jealous of Neko's solarium time! Our spring weather was fleeting this week. On the same note as Neko's towel and Rusty's pillow, I bought Noodle a green collar :D Hey, positive vibes work, right?

Golly, that's the ticket. I have to buy Polly green bedding. She doesn't use cat beds, though. Hmm. What to do. Aha. Paint the windowsills green. Yes. That's what I'll do. Maybe.

Have a great evening.
