Very sore from tennis yesterday, so overslept... Willie got lots of btb cuddles this morning. Can I just say how much I love having a cat that will go back to sleep next to you??? No play time, though... the bean had to get to tbp.

Can't really get home over lunch today... Kansas City is OBSESSED with St. Patrick's Day, and the start of the parade route is only a couple blocks from my apartment. The parade is basically from +6 to +7.5, and I can't really leave work any earlier to check on Willie. So, while I had been feeding wellness (4%), I put out some grammy's pot pie (8%) and I hope that it wil lbe enough... he's pretty carb sensitive, so I didn't want to leave out HC when he wasn't even green yet. I may try to leave work early today to check on him.

Hoping he gives me some green today!!

Ended up leaving work early... I was worthless. Mail order pharmacy is giving me the run around on my migraine meds, and my doctor has apparently not been responding to their faxes, so I've been without migraine meds for 3 weeks now. Had a killer migraine plus tension headache today and just couldn't deal with work. Was able to get in for a massage, which helped quite a bit.

Stopped at Vitamin Shoppe and got some L-Lysine for Willie and some supplements for me. We'll start the L-Lysine tonight. One of my favorite pet shops is in the same parking lot, so Willie now has two more Mr. Googly Eyes, a Miss Googly Eyes, and some fun new mouse toys. I have to say, all the Zanies toys have been a big hit so far... these http://www.amazon.com/Crinkle-Cuties-Ca ... -1-catcorr]Crinkly Cuties[/url] intrigue me as well.

I'll be sticking around to monitor tonight. Looks like Willie may finally be getting back on track!

Heavy heart for Barb today as she deals with the loss of Tori, the Warrior Princess.

Going to go lay down for an hour before shot time...

ETA: stepped out onto the fire escape for a moment... there are ALOT of green beads out there. hmmmm.......

:YMSIGH: about your headaches! Wow.. if you live that close to the parade.. I work within walking distance.. I so wish I lived that close.. That's too bad about the doctor's office not responding to the Fax, so I guess Pharmacy has to keep sending them a Fax. I hope you feel better. I'm glad Willie is doing so well and getting new toys.

Willie just got his outside time, while the bean sat and had a beer and kept him from planning his ess-cape to the third floor of the fire escape. Boy can't be happy with what he's got. Will be keeping an eye on the numbers... so far, no big drops.

I did get a couple alternative migraine treatments... magnesium taurate (supposedly the most bioavailable type of magnesium) and feverfew. Took both and it did seem to help. Of course, it could have also been the bottle of green/white tea a colleague had given me! LOL

@Nicole-- It was Brookside Barkery. :) I love that place!! There is a new Vitamin Shoppe in that same parking lot in Brookside... in the bank building. Wish they had Zobaline... may have to see if I could request it!
