She is playing "hard ball" with me. I got a 201 @+3. She won't be surfing today. We will be lucky to get near "The Beach".I'm so glad Susie is doing better today. I hope she slides down and surfs on the new dose.
She's teasing you about getting to blue. Actually the beach is blue. The lagoon is green. She is playing "hard ball" with me. I got a 201 @+3. She won't be surfing today. We will be lucky to get near "The Beach".

I thought my little cheat sheet of diabetic terms said "Surfing" was in the green (under 100) and "The Beach" was in the low 100s aka as "on shore" No matter. I did get a 188 @+6!She's teasing you about getting to blue. Actually the beach is blue. The lagoon is green.
How is Mr. Kitty? I'm so sorry about the pancreatitis diagnosis. Just another blow for your beloved kitty. How is he doing? I saw he had a "yellow" this morning. That is a good sign. Let me know, Melissa, and thanks for being concerned about Susie when you have so much to deal with.Glad she's feeling better!
Thank you for your concern, Diane.Hi Summer I'm glad Susie is feeling better.

Have a nice day![]()
He's doing well, got some small purrs this morning and he's up and about at least. Pleasantly surprised with his BG. Tonight will be the true test, his meds from the vet will start to wear off. I have meds at home but have never pilled him, I might lose some fingers in the process lolHow is Mr. Kitty? I'm so sorry about the pancreatitis diagnosis. Just another blow for your beloved kitty. Like you, I dread ever having to get pills down a cat's throat. It can be a nightmare. Good luck with that. Is there anything he really loves to eat that you can hide the pill in? Cheese, tuna? My Susie will not eat anything that isn't cat food or cat treats. Maybe the reduction in BG will help your boy feel better. Prayers that Mr. Kitty will accept the pilling. Please keep me informed. I see a spot of blue today.
I give pills in pill pockets, as long as the pills themselves aren't bitter. The dog allergy free, duck and pea ones (just need a bit) are more diabetic friendly. When it comes to actual pilling, Neko made me up my pilling game.I had to get a pill shooter. The Kruuse/Buster one worked great for me.
I'm worried about her esophagus and would not want to use the Kruuse/Buster if it involves sticking the device down her throat.I see a spot of blue today.

And I have very good luck with this piller called (oddly enough) the H-Bar-S piller that has a flexible, soft silicon tip that holds the pill. Ooops. Sorry the photo is so large. I believe it is made by Patterson Veterinary.
