Still not really sure what Nova is doing in the PM cycle of 1.25.. but am concerned that she's may settle again this cycle or next and give her mommy a heart attack.. so going to give 1U a shot.. I wanted to do it last night so that today wasn't another adventure with her shed and all.. but I forgot :(.. want to be really aggressive about going back up if it doesn't work though..

Nova was in a really good mood this morning.. came and said hi, went to her testing spot and acted crazy.. tested great.. then the she-devil came out. Not sure what's up with her and needles the last few days..she seems to go through these periods.. I had to take her and me into the bathroom so I could use the sink to keep her in one place.. She's such a drama queen.. I make the tent with her skin and I can touch the area with my finger (before I've tried to shoot at all) and she'll CRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY... oh mommy it hurts so much! yeahuh.. not buying it princess.

Holy SHEEEET!

Gave 1 tablespoon HC, and 1/4 can FF (1/4 can snack is usually around this time). Retesting in 15 minutes. Freaking out in about 0.2 seconds.

She's also pushed her brother right off his food, she ate another 1/8th can of his.

Well, hello Nova! What is this? That morning dose was so you wouldn't scare your mommy and look what you've gone and done!

Feed, re-test. You know what to do.
Don't feed too much..use the HC gravy so Nova will still want to eat if she keeps going down. She sounds like she has a good appetite if she's shoving her brother out of the way, that's good. :lol:

+2.5 was 52..

Tried for +2.25 but by the time I got a hold of her.. she's hyper and thinks all this mommy excitement and food is a great time, what a sense of humor that cat has..

Will try to catch her in 15.. but she just went tearing down the basement steps and is acting like a looney.. so realistically, I'll get a +3 ;)

Sounds like fun times at your house, hee hee!!

I'll try to watch, but have to leave to pick up kids in 30 minutes. You are doing great here and so is Nova. It seems like she is feeling terrific, I love that she playing games with you! :lol:

This house is INSANE right now.. Jerry and Hitch are crazy hyper because Nova is.. Cats running in EVERY direction.. Nova just went and caught a "bird" (honeysuckle pillow she carries around the house).. and she's in the bathroom howling about her catch (normal for her when she's hyper.. she picks the bathroom because it echos most).. time to go cheer her on for her great .. uh..hunting skills..

I'm wondering if I should give her a tiny bit more HC (1 teaspoon maybe?).. I can't imagine us getting magically from +3 to +6 with no more dropping.. will keep testing..

Test again at +3.5 (if you can catch her!) This is still a little early for her nadir, but glad you got her up out of the 40's. Keep that HC gravy handy to bump her up.

Good luck, gotta go. Can't wait to see how you and Nova are when I get back. Hope she hasn't locked you out of your house by then, hahaha!

She was furious when we moved from the apartment to this place. The old place had a small kitchen that she used to howl in and this one is pretty open.. but when she discovered the echos from the 1/2 bath on the main floor, and the concrete walls in the basement, she was so happy :).

As for locking me out, I hang the keys on a hook 5 feet in the air for a reason! :).

I fed her 1/8 can of FF at +3.. she was licking an empty plate, and the 1/8 seemed to satisfy her.. +3.5 was 61.. *breaths a sigh of relief*.. she's trying to take a nap after her crazy.. since she's up to 61.. I think I'll let her get a bit of a sleep before I bug her again..

Good grief Nova!!

Me: "Ok.. I know what's going on.. things have been going as I generally expected.. she's been in the mid blues at night, a lot higher then during the day lately.. plus I did a reduction and her crazy in the AM tells me probably her shed is mostly cleared up.. I'll grab a quick +3.. she'll be around 150..and I'll go to sleep."

Nova: "HAHAHAHAHA .... uuuuuuuummmmm.. no!"

Edit: Gave Nova a meals worth of pre-cooked turkey at +3 and her +4 was the same.. think the food did the trick.. time for the human to sleep yay!
