I said he would go green when it was bedtime. It was a bit of a dive too. I gave him some MC (I think). It may be HC, not really sure but he likes this food. I saved it for when he needs MC or HC. It's Purina Proplan Indoor minced chicken and he can tolerate it. I cannot find that on Dr. Lisa's list. I would have kept going with LC but I really don't want another PJ party tonight. He may have other plans though. I sure wish he would do this in the daytime. Any advice @Wendy&Neko, @FrostD @Bandit's Mom
 
Can you check him in an hour or half hour and go to bed (as long as his number is safe and maybe set an alarm for two hours after that and check again? Feed him right before you go to bed after the next test. You’ve really got this Lori and you can decide how you want to proceed.

Thank you Suzanne! I can do that. I don’t want to mess him up so I keep second guessing myself about everything. I will do that, that sounds good.

Looks like I’m just going to have to stay up for a while. The thing is, after he’s eaten so many times it’s hard to get him to eat, so I may have to give him a Temptation or two if he won’t eat again.

Yeah it’s tough with him. Trial and error. He ate the last little bit but I think he’s full now. I could just give him the honey only if I need to feed again and he won’t eat. I will just take a chance on his tummy if you think I shouldn’t give him a temptation. I know we shouldn’t use those but that’s always my last resort because he will eat it and it doesn’t give him diarrhea. Maybe this will be enough. He got the Grandmas chicken soup this last time for HC since I know that’s HC. Sometimes that bothers him too. It just depends on Max. I’m getting used to it.

You aren’t the only person who has used Temptations as a last resort. (Or party mix) And if it doesn’t upset his tummy…. Does it raise his BG quickly though? I would be surprised if it did, but I would like to know how it works in Max. It may last longer than honey though.
 
It doesn’t upset his tummy and I have used the temptation once before (3/6/22) I think is when I did that. It did okay with stopping the drop I think. I wouldn’t want to use this unless absolutely necessary because I think it did last a long time. But during the night when I want to go back to sleep, it was fine with me that he had it. I didn’t have to give it to him last night though. I didn’t do the honey or syrup either because of the risk of upset tummy in the past. I’m still trying to figure it all out though.
