Gosh, was I ever shocked to get a 68 bg. Maggie was doing an unusual amount of chatter and kept asking for food, so I thought something was up. I just gave her some FF turkey & Giblets and will test again in 30 minutes.
I had her on a skinny .50 for some time, so I'm thinking this takes her down to a .25 dose. Any thoughts/advice.

At +3 Maggie is up to 70. I just gave her a small amount of FF Turkey & Goblets and added a little hc Grilled Turkey Feast & Gravy.

Not sure on the dosecrease Ann. I think we did a skinny .50 first when we went down the ladder. But he never earned decreases with lows, just with greens. Congratulations. Finally - and St. Patricks day to boot! :mrgreen:

Beautiful numbers! wow, and impressive. Can't help with the dose question, hopefully someone with the expertise will be along soon.

Mannie is the same - lots of chatter and alertness when he goes low. often too he will sit in his test spot, asking for a test. He will often start his feed me dance too. always a sign isn't it that something is up, or rather down...

Have a good one today. And Maggie?: up a little more OK?

Congrats on the dosecrease, Ann. Beautiful morning numbers for Miss Maggie :-D

Isn't it amazing how they tell you when something's up? Checks also was out of character this morning, and he was only blue!

Thanks Nicole, Karrie and Michelle for the good wishes. Michelle, my Maggie did the same thing now that I look back. After the chatter, she was sitting on her testing spot. At first I thought it was cute and didn't test, but then 10 minutes later I did test. Now I'll learn to watch for her signals.

Daytime chatter and hanging out on the testing spot. That is so cool. Good for Maggie. Congrats again on the reduction!!!

Hi Barb & Checkers, I missed your post there - it is amazing the signals they give us! I need to pick up her strips and more cat food, so waiting until she's in the 80's or higher.

79 at +4 and much better. I think she may start going up - fed some more FF Grilled Turkey Feast and a little Grilled chicken feast, mostly added the gravy. Maggie's in heaven with the gravy acting as though it's a chocolaty milkshake! I need to pick up her strips and food, so thinking of leaving in a short while and won't be gone long and will leave more mc and hc for her. Hope I'm not overcarbing!

Thanks Barb, Celi, Karrie, Roni and Ann for stopping by and for the congrats on the dosecrease. Maggie came up slowly to 108. I ran out to get ATrak strips and more food and some of the FF Gravy Lovers to have on hand. She had eaten some of the food I left her and is totally zonked out. When I walked in the door, she didn't even look up!

Well, this must be the result of the hc and Gravy Lovers gravy I gave her after the lows. I probably over carbed, as I'm not used to her getting low numbers. Maggie Manx is worn out and has been sleeping the whole day away. She needs one of Celi's torties to get her off the couch! She did ask for food twice earlier, so the PMPS is also probably food spike.
