LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug, aka PawPrints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? They decided too that since it was also St Patrick's Day that they were making shamrock pizzas, and they are GREEN! They gots green brewskis too! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.
ok..... I also made green shamrock frappes!
I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It was a great day for me yesterday. I managed to dodge the latest rain storm coming through here, well sorta dodge it, and make it out and about for a while. It was a nice hike to Meadowdale, a bit wet, but nice. I spent the rest of the day working on financials and budget projections for me for the upcoming ear. Not too terribly exciting, but at least it is done, and I sorta know where I stand. Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Here we are again, the end of yet another weekend. I want mine back. ;-) It has not stopped raining here since this morning, non-stop slop, and now we have fog too. I finally just grabbed the rain gear and headed on out anyways to Meadowdale, got wet, but it's OK. It was good to be out for a bit, re-energized so to speak. The trails were a mess, duh, and no surprise with all this rainfall. I did find a small patch of trillium that has started to grow. That was kinda cool, a true woods plant of spring. It was really wet, but at the same time kinda pretty out there. I had a good time, despite the rains. I had hoped to be able to fo to Yakima tomorrow, for a canyon hike, as their weather is all sun and 65. The snows however have returned on Snoqualmie Pass, with a prediction for heavy snowfall tonight, up to 10". I have to cross over the pass to get to Eastern Washington, so.... with temps in the 20's, and the snows falling I can only imagine to conditions of the roads in the morning. I will wait and see, but expect to have to go somewhere else. I am kinda bummed, but ok too - there is a reason I did not make it over there until April last year. "

What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. With the weather being so stormy and wet in the morning the kitties were in bed mode most of the day yesterday. SMART! Elsa had to go out for a bit, she insisted. It was so reminiscent of the last time she went out in the rain. It wasn't two minutes later when I turned around and saw her at the door, paws and front legs stretched up as high as she could reach on the glass of the slider door, with these loud meows. Translation? " LET ME IN! NOW!!!!" So I did, and dried her off. Silly cat.  Then she went out again, twice! And again in the evening. It is the same every time she goes out when it is raining. It was cleaning day yesterday in the afternoon. and (!!) I had no helpers! Not even Lola who loves to help. She was too busy sleeping thought the rain storm. Maybe that was a good thing.   Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go do some local hiking. I had so wanted to go to Yakima, making it over the mountain passes to do some hiking in warmer Eastern Washington. Darn snow! .... well we will check once again to see road conditions before deciding where, and if, I go.
