Der's my big pink toad still squattin' up there in those ugly pink numbers! We spend SO much time in ugly numbers...gets frustrating at times doesn't it?

Update on Samson (orig. story in yesterday's condo) is not good....he's still not got things moving thru and this morning, I had to syringe feed some pureed chicken with forti-flora in it. I'm trying to keep at least vitamins in him if he wants to fight. There's no vetting until Monday but DH has finally began to realize that Samson's saying it's time. It's not going to be a good weekend for any of us, I'll go thru lots of potassium doses for DH from stress induced paralysis attacks. I've warned the neighborhood that if they see DH go down, just come get me if I'm not there....don't panic and call 911.....he wants to be alone to deal with this. That leaves me here biting my nails and turning him over to the good Lord to watch.

My photobucket today! Not having my camera with room available on the card is just about to drive me crazy - I LOVE my camera and the world! It's SO fascinating! Today I'll post a pic of a 'Tussock Sphinx Moth' caterpillar - notice those feathery antenna - he was SO neat looking. That's 2 pics put together showing both ends.

((((Lyresa)))) I am so sad to read this. Sending more vines for all of you and some pooping vines for Samson if he decides he's got some fight left in him. I guess when you live in his situation there's just not so many reasons to fight. I wish he was yours.

Lyresa, so sorry the news is not good with Samson. You're doing the best you can for him. It does sound like Samson is trying to tell you. Sending vines and prayers for Samson and also your DH and you. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate.

sending more healing vines and white light. Have you tried adding Miralax to the food? It draws water into the colon.

Thank you all for your visits - I really need them today. Each one let's me know I'm not walking this path alone this time. I'm not used to that even after all these months but I'm SO VERY THANKFUL for it.

Ann - don't feel like I can give Miralax as he's not drinking anything either other than what I've syringe fed him. I started to yesterday then remembered that Mineral Oil will help. At this point, I'm not even sure there's anything THERE to poop, his body's just saying he needs to so he tries. After I messed with him this morning, he's now gone off somewhere and hid - can't find him anywhere. I just hope he didn't go into the woods, we might not find him for a while.

BIG HUG to every one of you and another one just 'cos I need one too....

You've given Samson another chance at life, but he might not be strong enough to take it. You are an angel for trying. Sending strength vines to Samson; hugs to you and DH; scritches to KT.

Hi Lyresa,

You're so good to take care of Samson. If he gives you the chance to do it, you can give the miralax premixed with water in a syringe and then just syringe extra water in his mouth. The forti-flora may make him more constipated since it says It helps diarrhea. I'm sending healing thoughts in case he can find the will and some to you and your DH also. It's a terrible thing to watch and be helpless to do much because he's not yours.

Lyresa, You are doing such a great job trying to help Samson. I hope and pray that he will pull through this. Have you tried feeding him plain yogurt with active cultures? Please know that we are thinking of you, Samson, and your DH and sending many, many healing vines.

Update got postponed - SORRY!!! Now's it's PMPS time....

My sweet baby ditched his pink pj's for a gold crown...just barely but +5-ish was 290. Haven't done one in a while.

Samson update from 2 hours ago: I did find him an hour or so later but not sure where he'd been. He's telling me over and over it's time, he doesn't want anything in his mouth, no water, no food. DH has finally understood it and accepted it and was given HIS 'gift' a few minutes ago...I'll tell you all about it later.

Now...it's dark, DH is out 'walking' with him a few steps at a time but he'll be back under my truck in a few minutes.

KT just gave a me a DROPPING number at +11.75 = as if I need THAT now too....

Oh well...where'd I leave those big girl panties..... :roll:

(((Lyresa))) you are an angel...a saint to be with this sweet soul in his hours of need and as he transitions on to the next world. I am sending prayers, healing vines, snowflakes, everything for peace for Samson. And also healing vines for DH.

Thank you for caring for those creatures in this world that others have so neglected.

Many prayers for you and Samson and your DH. I know this is so hard for all of you . You are a very special person doing what you are doing.
