Not much to report here...pretty flat start to the day. She was still fairly enthused about having the EVO beef blended in with her FF and Purina One, but I won't be surprised if she decided to become tired of it, so I hope to stay a step ahead of her by offering more variety. She loves her FF and Purina, but before we settled on those, it was a difficult challenge finding fuds that she would consistently eat that also gave her good numbers. I'm hoping that a greater variety will keep her interested.

Bean is still a bit steamin' over the "recommendation" that we rerun the urinalysis in 3 weeks for no logical reason. I will eventually speak to our "actual" vet about this in a few days, after I've had a chance to gather my thoughts and questions. I don't know why, but she is very rarely the one who calls with our test results, and I don't know why that is. At the same time, I don't want to alienate the vet who does call with the results, just in case we need her services...plus, she is a good vet, just too clinical for my tastes. Big sigh...

Just about time for work...have a great day, LL!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

It looks like a fairly mellow day for Trixie, nice and flat, but decent numbers too. Maybe the lagoon in a bit Trixie?

I so hear you on the fuds... It is such a challenge. I too try and offer variety each day, just to keep him eating well, and avoid that refusal thing... Sure would be nice if they could tell us what they want.

wow on the request for a repeat lab. I run into the same thing with vets here I have with Mannie. Some call, some do not, some don't return calls, some do. What fun it is not... Wishing you luck!

Have a great day today.

Morning Amy, I hope Trixie comes down on a nice slide today. I so hear ya on the fuds. This morning I fed Mags Wellness Turkey just to make sure she ate after her shot. My Vet last just E-mailed Maggie's Labs, and then I called with some questions. We have three Vets in our Clinic, and some communicate better than my regular Vet. I hope your regular Vet clears it up as to why the other Vet wants a repeat urinalysus, whiich doesn't seem necessary,
