Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. His breathing sounded good. This morning we had a good test (yay for blue: I hope he is adjusting to the dosecrease and that he'll continue bringing down his overall range of numbers (yesterday was a good start)), a good shot, 1st sitting of breakfast, a schmooze, his "lung treat" at +1, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator. 15 degrees out this morning--a warming trend! :lol:

This afternoon we are going to the Met in HD to see "Francesca de Rimini" by Zandonai (libretto, after Dante, by Gabrielle d'Anunzio). This evening we are going to watch "Moonstruck" on a Netflix disc. Today is my Special Day (I don't call them birthdays anymore). Edward gave me a CD of a 1959 live performance in Freiburg, Germany of the Benny Goodman Big Band with Anita O'Day (one of my favorite jazz singers). Rusty gave me two kitty kisses. Boy, am I ever lucky!! :-D :-D :-D

Happy Special Day, Ella! It sounds like you have a wonderful day planned. Moonstruck is one of my favorite movies. You must enjoy all of the opera connections in it. I hope you enjoy your day!

Hi again, everyone,

Thank you all for your special good wishes. We had a fine day, and Rusty is doing OK with his bgs, too. The Met's lavish production of "Francesca da Rimini" is beautiful, but in my opinion the music is pretty awful. I liked it better when we saw it 27 years ago, the last time it was performed at the Met. Maybe it's me!!! "Moonstruck" was wonderful to see again--all of our old Brooklyn haunts are in it. That bakery is no longer there, but we used to buy bread there occasionally when we lived 10 blocks away, in Brooklyn Heights.

Hope all is well in LL. I'll get to condos tomorrow.
