Good morning, LL!
Went btb after taking care of Rippo this morning. Feeling a little lazy today. ( <------ That pretty much describes both Ripley and myself.)

Thank you for the visits last night, Lisa, John, Marje, and Denise. I love hearing about cat-antics!

Not much going on today ~ a few errands, gotta clean the turtle pond, and menu-plan for tomorrow's St. Pat's dinner. Corned beef (of course), and maybe these.

Happy Caturday, Josie! Those Chocolate Whiskey and beer cupcakes look amazing. Are you Irish, or just use the excuse to drink? :lol: I fall a little into both categories ;-)

Thanks for checking in ~ no Irish in me, but I do appreciate an occasion to enjoy a good stout. And Jameson. And Baileys. And chocolate. Or all rolled into one heavenly creation :lol: .
Plus, my favorite color is green, so even more reason to like St. Pat's weekend.
(My DH and I joined Costco primarily so that we can buy those extra large bottles of Jameson and Baileys. We like our Irish coffees on weekends ;-) )

What a beautiful surf for Ripley today. Mags was in the Lagoon for a short spell.

Hi, Ann, I'm glad Ripley and Maggie hung out in the lagoon together today :mrgreen: . I just got back from the store with my cupcake ingredients ~ I don't know if I can wait until tomorrow! :lol: My turtle lived in my classroom for about 12 years. When she outgrew her tank, I brought her home to her "retirement pond." If all goes well, she'll live for another 20-30 years :shock: . Her name is Bubba. (That's what happens when you let 3-5 year olds name classroom pets :lol: :roll: :lol: .)

It was a fabulous day. Errands, sun, surfing.
What more can I say?

My turtle lived in my classroom for about 12 years. When she outgrew her tank, I brought her home to her "retirement pond." If all goes well, she'll live for another 20-30 years . Her name is Bubba. (That's what happens when you let 3-5 year olds name classroom pets :lol: .)

That is both hilarious and so sweet you brought her home. Bubba is so very fortunate to have you as its caregiver! I had no idea turtels live that long. Maybe I should be your Teacher Assistant. :lol: I love kids that age, you never what they might say!
Mags said she enjoyed play time with Ripley in the Lagoon.

:lol: :lol: :lol: You would get along famously with my DH -- his drink of choice is Bailey's and Coffee. ;-) I may need to make some bangers and mash tomorrow to go with our coffee and bailey's.

So funny that you brought Bubba home to her retirement pond! That's so sweet :) Does she ever get to go to school for show and tell?
