I did not post at all yesterday. I started feeling a bit off Sunday evening, was up for part of the night Sunday night coughing so hard I thought I was going to throw up, got up Monday in an attempt to get ready for work & almost passed out! I took this as a sign that my body was trying to tell me something! I called into work & said I would not be in yesterday. I then got up long enough to deal with Morris & ship the 2-legged kids off to school, and then I went back to bed! I did not wake up until I heard drooler going nuts as ds returned home from school! I got up, showered, picked up dd & took her to her swim practice, but then on the way home from practice, I began feeling unwell again. When we got home, we were greeted with dinner already made by dh & ds! I sent Brooke to get some dinner, I took some Advil & went back to bed! I did manage to get myself up again in time to deal with Morris, then I went back to my bed! Thankfully, I am feeling better today (enough to make it into work! UGH!), but still not 100%. Not sure exactly what it is.....I just feel 'off'.

As for Mr Morris.....he seems to be doing quite well! He is enjoying being free fed now rather than his timed feedings. I was a little concerned at first that he would gobble everything down in 1 sitting, but that does not seem to be happening. His bowl is usualy empty by the time pre-shot testing rolls arounds. I am still using the divided bowl from his timed feeder and the past few days I have been putting in 1/2 can Merrick & 1 can Fancy Feast every 12 hours. I guess I should try to make a habit of taking him to the vets office on a more regular basis to have his weight checked to make sure that stays where we want it!

He has already finnished eating all of his food for today! Usually when I get home, he still has some left & goes to eat it just after I test him. Today, however, he did not seem to be complaining about being out of food! Will see what happens come PMPS time though! LOL!

I hope you're feeling all back to 100% in a day or two, Gwen.
Have I ever told ya, I love that picture of Morris!

Icky! Looks like maybe he bounced some time today while I was at work?? Hope we don't see any more of this ugly color on his ss!!

Me too! Thanks! I want to stay up for a bit to see if he can get a better color on his ss.....but since I have been struggling to stay up until now, I am not sure that is going to happen tonight!

At dinner time, I put out 1/2 can Merrick & 1 can Fancy Feast. When I checked on him 1 hour later, I discovered that he had already eaten 1/2 of what I put out! Combine that with his high BG reading, I decided I better give him some more food for tonight & I dished out another 1/2 can Merrick. I am thinking that maybe he went low today while we were all out & ate all of his food sooner as a result. Now, since it has been awhile since he has eaten, he is hungrier than normal. Not sure if that is the case or not, but it sounds like a possibility! Will see where he is at in the morning!
