This cat wants to do all of his bouncing during the day and goes into his low, good numbers at night when I can’t monitor well. I’m sure that he got to green last night, but I couldn’t stay up last night. Going to bed late and getting up early is hard enough with my lifestyle, but staying up during the night is a whole different ballgame. Can’t do it all the time. I wish I could but I pay for it the next few days. It looks like he’s not going to do anything for me anytime soon so I’m putting the glucometer away until PMPS. He’s acting fine. He’s doing all of the 5 Ps so I’m going to leave him be. @Wendy&Neko or anyone else, are there any tricks to keep his BS stable enough at night to help with the bouncing or is it just going to be what it is? Just want to make sure I’m doing what I can. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, because I’m so happy about his progress. I am just trying to get everything as manageable as possible. I’m sure everyone can relate to that.:)

If you can figure out if he is going to drop at night, you could feed some MC or HC early to try and slow the drop. I've never been very good at doing that. :bighug::bighug:

Thanks Carla. I doubt he does it tonight, but that is a good idea to try when he does. I missed seeing the blues and greens today. At least I can sleep tonight and start again tomorrow. Have a good night.

If you find a way, let me know. For three months in a row, Neko dove at night and bounced during the day. I tried everything I could think of. Cats are the ones leading this FD dance, not us. Once Max gets more used to greens, by spending longer stretches there, he's stop bouncing as much and flatten out. At night, or when you are away during the day, it's OK to give him some HC to boost him up to keep him safe, but otherwise if you see greens, try sticking to LC so he surfs those numbers for as long as possible.

Looks like you get your sleep tonight.

About the only thing that jumps out at me (as far as predicting) is days like the 14th - he had a very flat last half of the AM cycle, then went low. Same with the 1st. Those were non-bouncing cycles.

The bounce break cycles are a little harder to predict...
