3/16 KATIE UPDATE

[Barbara and tuffy]

Today is Katie's Birthday. She had surgery again today and will every other day to change the pumps and debride the wound. Her time in the hyperbolic chamber has been reduced to once daily. She is currently sleeping (anesthesia from surgery). Her wounds are trying to heal. They expect her to be in the hospital another 4-6 weeks and have said the recover will be a long one. Her mother is doing as well as can be expected. I hope to get up this weekend and see her and Katie.

Thank you for all the prayers, vines, snowflakes and everything else. She is one brave little girl and I'm sure if she has anything to do with it she will surpass their expections as far as her recovery.

THANK YOU AGAIN LL - it is working. We have been granted a miracle. I am very grateful for all the support you have provided. Happy tears again here.
