Happy Friday and TGIF!! Sending prayers and healing thoughts to Katie and all who need them.

Nice evening last night and quick recovery from that durned fur shot the night before. And we have a little "b" going on today but I"m not complaining as long as she keeps it blue. I'm caught between a rock and a hard place....she's getting into the 40s on this dose but still bouncing a little more than she did on the sk1.25u. But any thought of that larger dose, and she heads for the 30s :lol: :lol: Trying to dose in between is impossible. So it's either up her carbs and bring her numbers up and then take her insulin up or leave her here for a bit and she what she does. I think for right now, as long as she's giving me nice green nadirs, I might just leave her be but if we all want, we can TELL her she's getting a dosecrease just for the usual "effect" :lol: :lol: I'm a little ragged around the edges today because some little soft, purry, cuddly creature was hogging my pillow last night....I"m glad she feels well rested.

Nice that you got your beauty sleep Gracie - well rested kitties are always the best. :-D Mine like the pillow too. Durn cats! Nice even surf today Gracie - kept it going!

It's hard to mess with greens that pretty!p

I don't suppose it would help to give her a pillow of her own. She just wants to be as close as possible to you.

Linda...she has a pillow of her own....a little baby-sized pillow. She's never slept on it :lol: :lol: Ever since I first brought her home when she weighed 1 lb and was 13 weeks old, she's slept curled up in my arms with the occasional venture over to Mike's pillow to make sure the top of his head is spotless :lol: :lol: :lol: As she's gotten bigger, she stretches out more when she cuddles with me and last night I got up and she decided to stretch horizontally on my pillow instead of vertically.

Sounds like you'll have to sleep on the baby pillow Marje :lol:

Vyktor doesn't hog the pillow so much as the whole bed. It's a queen size but he is a long cat and with him doing his big diagonal stretch across the bed I often struggle for room in a corner. I have to sleep fetus style :lol:

Thanks for your thoughts re reduction yesterday - he's done it again this morning with a 41 :shock: so I'm taking it tonight.

Gracie sounds so snuggly. Are Scottish fold like that generally? Molly calico sleeps right next to me (and between me and DH!) Simon hasn't been very cuddly since Dx :sad: not sure why. I think he snuggles with the auto feeder :lol: They both used to be locked in another part of the house at night when they were on dry food. They were always bugging us, and I was always keeping portions so tiny...but no one lost weight! The wet food has made a huge diff for satiety and general night time peace :smile:
