Yay, welcome to the weekend:) Despite the overnight +8 meal only having a slurp missing and the rest not eaten which seems to make a higher PS, Chyna is doing fine today, poo yesterday again and really alert and wandering around this morning purring. Unlike sleepy mama bean, I went back to sleep and missed getting the +2 I meant to do today...then it was time for her mini meal which she ate over an hour so it'll be awhile before a test.

I'm not sure if I'm writing my units in right on my SS...I've been putting 0.10 but maybe I should be writing 1 drop, unless that's the same thing? I've been doing the push in plunger hard and pull in insulin from the vial by releasing it, then holding it pushed in when injecting and pulling out. I use B-D syringes and it's one drop being pulled in:)

Well, I'd better get moving. I have my dad coming to fix my closet bar that the wood broke in half off the wall (??), and a TON of snow to finish shovelling...and we got more overnight cat(2)_steam

Have a good day LL! Vines to all who need them :-D

Re: 3/16 Chyna AMPS 97

Happy Caturday!

It depends on your syringes... different brands hold more. Some have an unaccounted for bit of space under the zero line.
The important thing is you know what amount you are giving and do your best to consistently give it.
To most of us, 0.1 is one drop.

Happy shoveling too. I'd give anything to have that problem. We haven't had enough snow which will mean another scary fire season in May/June.

Re: 3/16 Chyna AMPS 97

Thanks! I'll just leave it as 0.10 in my SS. Sorry about the fire season, even with all our snow it's happened sometimes in nearby communities with wildfires and winds and it scares the heck out of me...I can't imagine living in a much drier area how terrifying that could be. I wish I could send you some of my snow :-D

Hi, Rachel, it's wonderful that Chyna is down to just a little bit of insulin! Good job with her!

Good luck on the home-stuff today.
Stay warm!

Hi Rachel,

Chyna's spreadsheet is lovely. I just dropped in to say hello and wish you the best of luck - hopefully she'll be ready for an OTJ trial soon.

 Grace

Thanks! I hope so on the OTJ trial, not sure when that goes into effect to try, I was hoping soon but don't want to push the pancreas too hard:)

Well, driveway is...mostly shovelled and closet fixed, and of course all the sawdust and mess created with it cleaned up:) Chyna had a lazy day sleeping on the couch while I ran around. A few hours ago I finally sat down and added a page to my SS for Chynas Labs, as a comparison, since I have the original diagnosis labs (that I got from my new vet when it was faxed by my old one to them). I also scanned them in and added those at the bottom of the SS as different pages. They're from two different labs, old vet and new, so I did my best to put the tests on the same line on the one I made! Hopefully it all makes sense. Supper is almost ready so gotta go eat now that precious kitty is taken care of :-D
