yesterday

After talking to my family I found that my brother accidentally left the basement door open before he left the house when I was gone leaving the dry food accessible to Jose for almost 5 hours. This is definitely the reason for his high numbers as well as the vomit I found. I'm still trying to keep his numbers down so I gave him a whole unit today and will be monitoring again.

Amazing what a difference dry food makes! Hope one unit gets you back on track.

Would it do any good to put a sign on the door? Is your brother old enough to understand how bad the higher number is and how easily Jose can be thrown off his good path to OTJ?

Putting a sign on the door is a good idea. I'm going to do that today. My brother is 22 but he doesn't know much about Jose's diabetes. I just took some time today to explain how the dry food affects him. Hopefully this will help.
