Eventful non Skooter day 03/14
We got lots of stuff done yesterday, including finding MOST of my great-nieces gifts:
Then I found out I will have a nephew, hopefully by this time next month!
We started early this morning with a trip to Target with the birthday girl. I found a Pound Puppy and let her see it, she wouldn't let go of it, so there was the last part of her present
it was so sweet, when I came in the house yesterday, she got so excited to see me. I made a comment asking why she was so obsessed with me that day, and my niece (Lana's mom) said, "She is always obsessed with you." I am not gonna lie, it felt kind of good to hear her say that
The party was great, but as usual, we had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much food. Skooter did great while I was gone. I was able to come home mid morning to grab a test before the party and he is doing well tonight! Seeing numbers I haven't seen in AGES!!!!!!!
I have been working on getting stuff purged from my house, five bags thus far and then my stomach started to hurt again, so I am going to try to rest for a bit and see if I can get some more done.
