3/15 SINVER. AMPS 281 +6 127 +7 133 +9 64 +11'5 50 PMPS 48 /68 +1 187

You have been doing an excellent job with Sinver and you know his patterns best, food bumps etc. He seems to be nadir at the end of today's cycle. Can you stall a little bit?

I might give a tsp of LC food to hold him over for the half hour and test again.

If I'm at home, I'll give him some hydrolyzed tidbit to keep him and in half an hour I'll measure again to see if it is rising ... a question ... if it does not go up to 50 I can not prick him? What should I do next?

We never give insulin with a lime BG. You would consider how long you can stall without it affecting your schedule and whether or not you can monitor during the pm cycle.

If I can measure him I will be at home, I can control him. Tonight there is a party at home... I don't know what to do because I know that if I prick him low he can give me a low tonight.

I understand :bighug::bighug::bighug:. You can always feed High Carb food at shot time, +1, +2 etc; or you can skip. Sometimes we have to live life too :cat:. From what I see, Sinver gets back on track and clears bounces pretty quickly. If you need to, take the time for yourself and your family, and start fresh in the morning.

He is still dropping ... he is very hungry is indicative that he will be lower ... I will be here at home what scares me is to prick him and that he will drop more I have food high in carbohydrates and honey.

You should not shoot a lime BG. You can either stall and then test and shoot or perhaps a one time skip. If you skip, you can feed his regular LC and check on him in half an hour. I am running out so I can't check the board for another 45 minutes.
