I'm starting to have a bit of trouble drawing blood from her ears. Instead of "learning to bleed" its more like they're "refusing to bleed", in true Ruby fashion.

Are torties always this stubborn? She always has been, but none of the other cats I've had in the past 20 years have been.

Hi guys .. Bummer on the ear problems .. have you tried warming them up with a rice sock? Massaging them? Hmmm .. I hope you don't have any more problems with that .. I never knew other torties were known for 'tudes, just thought our civvie was "special" Since coming here, I've learned there are a lot of "special" torties! Have a great day guys!

Midgie (our civvie) was running her morning racetrack around the house this morning and pulled off a perfectly timed pounce onto Ruby's head while she had her back turned. Boy-howdie did Midgie get a dose of that attitude then!

Oh, when I was looking for calico, my friend warned me about them. They are "special" all right.
Come on down nicely, Ruby girl cat_pet_icon

I sat Ruby down before left for work this morning and told her she better be under 250 by the time I got home.

PMPS 228! :-D

+3 138

I'm thinking maybe she thinks I've had too much sleep this week.

 i think if they build up scar tissue it doesn't bleed. punkin has one spot in his ear that looks like a scar to me and it never bleeds.

that 138 (AT) looks mighty nice tonight! you don't mean you need sleep, do you? ;-)
