LL beans! It is I!, Mannie, kitteh barista! For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and quad shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls.... PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today:Cheery cherry pomegranate!! Psssstttt.... I gots scones and croissants too!

I wanted to take a minute and thank all of you that come to visit Mannie. I am sorry that I don't always get to return the favor. I think yesterday I missed everyone! Between DGS, Mannie's needs, the contractors etc etc etc, I simply run out of time... Anyways - thank you all, it is so appreciated! I hope to be able to have some time to spend with all of you this weekend. Paws crossed!

Yesterday was... a day of not so pretty colors... and an awful pmps. :sad: aiyeee..... we are into day three/four days since his visit to the lagoon, so I will be patient, cut him some slack, and hope for better day today. The only good thing I can say about the black is that at least he hasn't stayed there long, usually ends up yellow after. It is trying though in that he seems to bounce right back up again. well anyways.... I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! The 262 is a nice start this morning. All is well in MannieLand. It's the bean that worries.... In Mannie's opinion it was a great day. DGS came, gave him pets and cuddles. He got one of his fav foods, the fleece bed was warm, the nanners were waiting. The LB was clean! He got to spend time early in the evening in the back yard patrolling and sniffing and exploring. He really did seem to enjoy whatever was n his plate yesterday. I need to keep reminding myself that he is doing the best he can, and is content in doing so. We did have a few issues yesterday, it was not one of his better days. Mobility was so so, though he did get around OK. It was the first time in ages that he peed outside of his LB. It was one of the first days that I could truly tell that he had trouble seeing something was was right in front of his face, even though he had no trouble getting around the house. He accepts, he deals, and he knows he is loved. So yes, all is well in MannieLand. Appy has been good (picky !!!, but good), CPC (barely) yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: I am happy to say one more time: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! Today is the last day of DGS duty for the week. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas. WOO HOO! Back in the pool! Paws crossed on the weather, as I hope we can get some outdoor time too. ..... I hope to visit condos when time permits, it is so tough to do while he is here. I will miss you guys! Think blue, think green kitties! And the drainage work in the yard continues.... I so wish they'd finish..... go contractors! Good news though: the new water line is in! YaHOO!

Hey everybody! What's up!?!? I loved our road trippin' yesterday, and Maui's yacht party. WOO HOO!, but boy am I tired.... I thinks we so need another one of those beach chillaxin' days... ya know: sand, sunbathing, chillaxin'. Maybe even a round later of beach volleyball! and sand castles! and bon fire beach grillin'! So sorry Mannie did not have a very good day yesterday but still carried on in style and greeting DGS. Sending tons of mobility vines and eating vines and for a better day. It's still normalcy in MannieLand. Was there anything they could do on his eyes yet? You may have mentioned it, but memory is taking a back seat.
Have a great time with DGS today at the pool and thanks on the links, always great pics.

Hey Mannie, our beach is always beckoning for the kitties. And there is Tess's beach, too. We could return to the Children's Beach in La Jolla where they have a part roped off for the baby seals to lounge in the sun, always an interesting place. We can visit Mission Beach, too, where they have the old roller coaster and candy cotton and lots of cool surfing and beach volleyball, too. And hot dogs and eateries everywhere. Good morning! Nice sunny start for Mannie. He and Tarragon are hanging out together again this morning. Hopefully they find their way down. Sounds like it was a stressful day for you yesterday. Mannie not so much I'm glad he is feeling ok and doing his normal things, albeit slower than usual. ((((Michelle)))) Have a great day with Nicholas!!

Nice start for Mannie today. I hope he slides down to blue. Sorry about Mannie's eyes and his missing the litterbox. It is hard to see our kitties get older, but the important thing is they are happy and they know they are loved.

Mannie is such a terrific kitty to keep on truckin' even when he isn't at his best. I hope that he will have a really good day today. Nice yellow AMPS.
Have a good pool day with Nicholas and maybe a short hike in the afternoon. Fingers crossed that the contractors will finish the drainage work soon!

Please don't worry about not getting to condos. We all understand (and we all have many times when we can't get to as many condos as we would like). You do a remarkable job!

Hey Mannie,

You missed your LB, was it cause you didn't feel like using it or you weren't sure where it was? Were you wearing the glasses your bean gave you? Cause if you were, you would have found the LB. When my tummy is all grumbly, I will let my bean know by pooping on the floor, especially the rug in the living room. And it's usually messy and stinky! My bean so loves when I do that. She gets to clean it up and then she looks for me to wipe my butt! :o and give me smoochies.

Does your bean do that to you?

Beach day it is. I so like the sound of the surf and feel of the sand between my paws. It reminds me of a huge LB! :lol:

The bean just went shopping, so I'll take all the good stuff and load it in my wagon and be ready to go have fun!

Nicholas and I have just returned from another awesome morning in the pool OMG: The FISH rules. He has such a great time. The pool was PACKED today as some schools are off today. I swear any kid with a swim suit was there. It was nice to see Nicholas hold his own with the older kids, play what they did, slide mega fast with them, and just enjoy the experience of CrAzY! I will post the photo link in Mannie's condo tomorrow. :-D :-D

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on Mannie, he did well, even though it wasn't one of his better days. they happen, today sees to be better. THANKS on those vines, he's wrapped himself in them. says he feels great now. :-D On teh cataracts - I am told that there is nothing they can so for them in cats. Which is sad, but I know too that cats adapt very well. He still has vision, that I can tell, but sometimes I can tell that he just can't see something in front of his nose. THX on DGS and the pool - ALWAYS such fun!

It was a bit stressful yesterday, one feels so helpless when they struggle. So we help the best they can, while still letting him be who he is.I am ever so glad he still does his normal things, adjusted approach or not. THX on DGS - fantastic time!

He just keeps on truckin'! ;-) THX on today - BG's are good, he seems to be doing OK. Lots of sleeping, but heck - he's a cat. Sleep is mandatory! :lol: THX on DGS, and the Yard... all are doing great. Pool time was fun. I so like being able to share that part with him. THX too on the condos - I just feel bad that Mannie gets so many visitors, and I just can't get to everyone... THX on the rest,... so appreciated!

Still rocking the BLUES!! Way to go Mannie. I hope he is feeling a little better today with those beautiful numbers. Sorry to hear about the LB incident - Neko does that sometimes if she's bounced too high.

I'm glad you had a great day in the pool. I can imagine spring break would be busy. :shock: Totally understand you being busy with all that life has going on now. Oh no on the contractor project that keeps on going. I guess that's the way with a lot of house repairs. :roll:

Hi Wendy - That he is - a good day in the BG dept! YaHOO! He seems somewhat better, but we see to be in a holding pattern as far as the muscle weakness stuff goes. Time to talk to the IM vetty again... Mannie will do that too with the LB if it's not clean, or is numbers are way high. I hope that is all it was: high numbers. things seem ok so far today. THX on DGS -we really had a great time - and yes: Is was so so so busy! They were lined up out the door waiting to get in when we left. I am so glad we go early for the little kids swim, and even that today was NUTS! THX on the rest - appreciated. Contractors got alot done today - a few minor things to finish - YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!

It's hard to believe that they just won't go on as they were forever. But they get older just like we do! I won't mention how creaky I've been feeling lately! :lol: :lol: :roll: WE all adjust. Mannie is happy. Mannie doesn't seem to know anything is amiss. Tess is slower and takes her time about lots of things now too, my jaw drops now to see Emma levitate onto the table for fuds!
