Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) A nice blue start for the day, what a great way to start the day! But the coffee is taking it's time kicking in this morning.

Good news that the vet said to try stopping the eyedrops for Emma. She will be one happy kitteh! I think I will try another through the screen door intro too. nailbite_smile

Hi Ann, that is great news on Emma and the eye drops! Nice blues for Tess today. Paws crossed for a good intro thru the screendoor with Tess and Emma.
I would love to see a pic of the free spirit Emma when you get a chance!

the intro went bout as well as could be expected and better than i had feared.They had meals on opposite sides of the screen, Tess pretty much ignored hers and meowed at Emma w/ a few low growls, mainly when John touched her. i was outside w/ Emma and her dish. Nothing will keep that kitter from eating! She did keep a wary eye on Tess though. All in all it went fairly smoothly, Tess didn't attack the screen and Emma didn't try to squirm loose and flee!

It sounds like the introduction went pretty well. A good start. Tess, you and Rusty were moving in opposite directions today. I like your's better!

That does sound like a good start. It's hard to be patient and let it develop.

I was wondering what the intro would do to Tess's slide, apparently nothing! :lol: :lol: I guess she felt she could keep our attention on her where it belongs!

Emma had a great day outside after the intro. She stuck pretty close to the yard hunting lizards, I almost got a good shot of her stalking one. Idiot cat moved on to the cactus garden and started to chew on a beavertail cactus! :shock: I think she is fine, but she won't really let me look in her mouth! she had to pick the one w/ the finest spines! I check her out more thououghly tonight. Not that I could really see them anyway.

I don't know if this would work very well with a cat... or a mouth.
But we have lots of paintball games and my DH likes to sit /kneel on cactus's ( :razz: ) and the best way to get them off he has found is a really sticky tape.
He likes the clear packing tapes.
Maybe that would help with her lips/face if she has any there. They are often so clear you can't see them. But you can see them on the tape.
