Good Morning my friends!
Stella is doing great despite me! I am doing my best, and my work schedule continutes to be a challenge as I hunt for the right fit in a kitty sitter for our new household. I had one of my incredible neighbors express interest in assisting and I would watch her dogs on her vacation. She came over and checked out the routine. The next night was Saturday, and I couldn't get her to come over. I guess that won't be a fit either. I will find someone...the right someone just hasn't shown up.
I finally got a urine sample from Stella last night. Two and a half weeks later! I am going to get it to the vet this morning. I put it in the refrigerator last night. I ended up buying a smaller litter tray to fit inside of their regular litter tray and filled it will beads. She just wouldn't go without it being inside of her litter box. I don't know why it took me so long to figure out this would work. After she gave me the sample I lifted up the smaller tray and voila...it was back to what she was used to. Thanks to everone with ideas. Unfortunately, my trying to catch her stream while she was urinating was scaring her to death.
Everything is in place today! Wish Stella luck on her urine testing showing no kidney problems.
