Good Monday, Everyone,
We still are not used to the time change in this household. Rusty was confused, as were his beans. It's too dark in the morning now! But we got up on time, had a good test, good shot, breakfast (2 installments), a brief play with Red Ears, and a lounge on the radiator. In the middle of the night Rusty woke me up again with his unique variation on the head butt (he doesn't butt his head, he presses his head with great force into my head and leaves it there!).
A few flurries this morning with temps in the mid 20s. We are expecting a major thaw this week. I don't think we'll be skiing! Today I will pick up my package from ADW at the post office: the FreeStyle Lite meter and strips and the AccelWell travel pouch--a travel cooler for insulin that is supposed to keep insulin at optimal temperature for 12 hours at temperatures up to 100 degrees F. If this really works it will be a great thing to have, since I always worry about insulin in our cooler on trips, that it might be too cold or get too warm.
Healing vines to all kitties and beans in need of them. And thoughts and prayers for the people and animals of Japan. The nuclear developments are really scary.
