Good morning, everyone,

The 98 at +4 last night must have been a bad test. This morning's AMPS confirms that last nights shot was indeed a fur shot. Two fur shots in two days! Poor Rusty! Well, this morning's shot got in, so I hope the shed will get refilled soon so that Rusty can get back to his good numbers. I am reclaiming my title as fur shot queen!

Last night at bedtime Rusty had an incredible burst of energy and played vigorously with his bell ball and the squeaky mouse with flashing eyes. Wonderful to hear all that noise and fun. This morning he is again biding his time, waiting to go home.
(Friday is the day, Rusty!)

Dental day for the beans. Lunch with a friend. Another spring-like day with high around 70. It will be a shock to go back to winter on Friday.

I'm sure Rusty will be glad to be back home and back to his normal routines (and numbers!) Friday. In the meanwhile, I hope the beans make the most of the big apple adventure.

Nice to hear Rusty was playing hard last night. I too, love to hear the squeeks and rattles, of the sounds of playing :-D
By Fri, Rusty may be enjoying it there, and not want to go home. Yeah right! :lol:

Ugh on the fur shot. They happen so just look forward. Great to hear that he was playing a lot last night. They are so sweet when they are feeling good.

Ella, sorry on the fur shot. Are you trying to steal my fur shot crown! :-D I like hearing how playful Rusty is in the mornings. Maggie always seems more playful with higher than normal numbers, strange. Rusty will be back on track soon. Enjoy your day.

Hi guys .. well bummer on these fur shots! But this one got in and hopefully rusty will be back to his handsome greens .. We also have 70 degree weather here today and I'm itching to get out in it! Have a great day guys!

Definitely a good shot today, :-D :-D I think there has been an marathon in the fur shot dept the last few days. At least I'm blaming Tess Red Day on one now. :lol: Good luck o the dentals.

Sorry about the fur shots, but it sounds like Rusty's well on his way to getting right back on track. And he'll probably do even better once he's home.
I envy you the winter- I had to turn the AC on yesterday, and we're already under siege by bugs!

Sketchy reports so far, but they all seem to agree that the kitties are having a great time with Rusty in the Big Apple!

Hi again,
Celi, where did You find that pic? Fabulous. That's just what they must have been doing today: flyin high!

This morning Rusty and I had a good play session and Edward spent some time in the library. Then lunch with our friend at one of our favorite coffee houses. Then to the new REI store to exchange the day hikers I bought yesterday. Then to the dentist, where all went well. Look ma, no cavities!

Tomorrow will be our last full day and the main reason we came to the city this time: my oldest friend, who I haven't seen in 5 years, and his wife will be in town and we are getting together for dinner. We have been friends since we were 6 years old, when our respective parents met in a dancing class. After all these years we still have much in common.

Off now to visit condos. Hope all is well in LL.

Sounds like you are having a fabulous time and have saved the best until last. Nice to read about - I won't mention the you know whats.

Hi Ella. Bet Rusty will be happy to be back with his little radiator bed. Not that he'll need the heat on now. :smile:

Hi all - Sounds like a great day for all in the big city. Congrats on the good dental, and on just having some fun. Tomorrow sounds great - how nice to be able to see your friend.

Bummer on the fur shot. I am sure that once home Rusty will be back to Rusty numbers. I like last nights play time too. Well done Rusty! :-D

Better, but come on Rusty, all the kitties are looking up to the Lagoon Master!

You have had a couple of busy days! But at least the shopping sounds like fun and dinner w/ your friend is a perfect way to finish off the trip. Then things will all settle back to normal when you get home, including Rusty's numbers.
