Morning all! ~O) ~O)
I sure didn't expect this amps after finding yesterday's pmps syringe with the insulin still in it at pmps +3 last night. and then getting 147 at pmps +5 last night. Mark thought he remembered giving Ollie his shot, but there was the syringe with insulin still in it... It was an interesting moment at +3...the two of us standing there staring at the syringe... I thought Ollie would be sky high this morning. Today will be interesting.

He's a happy, snuggly bug this morning. He's so sweet when he jumps up, snuggles and purrs.

What a good boy Oliver is...Nice numbers without the juice. Hopefully he will continue to surf along today. I can just picture you and Mark standing there looking at the syringe, :o

Hi Mary. I can understand how you can forget the shot. I've nearly done it a few times. You do the test, set the food dishes out and then while you're getting the syringe ready something happens that draws you away and you forget the shot. It looks like Oliverwas appreciative of not getting a shot last night and is rewarding you and Mark with reasonable numbers today.

:shock: Missing a shot is not funny, but the way you told the story made me chuckle :lol: I'm sure Ollie will get back on track in no time and his snuggles let you know you are forgiven. Hope he keeps coming down for you today!

It happened to me once, I know the feeling... of course Mark is sure, syringe's not :lol: hope Ollie doesn't go higher for you today, glad he's feeling happy, let him take a break today !

Hi Mary, I'm with Tara, as I love hearing how you found the syringe with the insulin in it. It's not really funny, but you make the best out of a bad situation with some humor, whether you mean to or not! :lol: Ollie sure is doing well today, and I'm sure he will get back on track with two terrific beans. Thanks for the recommendation of the PetMate Fountain in my condo. I did see it advertised somewhere and thought it looked pretty cool! Have a nice day.
I've also forgotten a loaded syringe.

Well, it's really hard to know what happened last nigh especially with Ollie back in the green today. I think this was an , "Oh, well...." moment.

Truly odd isn't it... maybe i drew 2 syringes??? i guess it will go down in our books as... please pay a little better attention to what you're doing! We were chattering with each other, feeding all the cats, tossing toys... doing things without actually thinking. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION... YOU HAVE 1 REALLY IMPORTANT JOB! ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

HI Mary....What a lovely amps Ollie gave you, despite the missed shot last night......good boy!
I haven't missed a shot, but have missed the preshot test, by getting distracted. I've found the loaded meter after the shot. Oops!

I'm glad the mystery syringe didn't cause too much of a problem. It's nice to see that green for Oliver today. I found a syringe that still had insulin in it before and couldn't figure out where it came from or which shot I missed. At that point I had two places I set the syringe down after I filled it. I now only have one place I put the syringe. You're right. We really need to pay attention because it's too easy to do things out of habit and not really remember.
