Nothing new, just closer to the date of operation keeps me more worried about her, I'm also thinking about pain killer, the only available one here is MetaCam I don't know if the name is correct.

HI Aseel,
We're keeping you both in our prayers for this surgery to be easy for Noni and that she heals quickly, without any problems. And for you also. Take good care of you while you take such good care of sweet little Noni. She is having quite a run of great numbers! Obviously, she's not stressed. ;-)

Dyana, she took it only once, when I asked for painkiller they gave me a shot of Metacam to use it at home when necessary
 
The first time J.D. had a dental, I begged, and wrote notes, and asked, and advised them not to give J.D. Metacam, but they did anyway. I came home with some prefilled syringes, and I think I gave J.D. two of those doses. I think in small amounts, when there are no other alternatives, that it will be okay. She will need pain medicine.

If there is talk of spaying her, and if she is healthy enough, I would be tempted to have that done at the same time.

I didn't know that Noni was about to have surgery and want to tell you that we will be thinking good thoughts for a successful surgery. When will it be?

Hi again Dyana, I don't think spaying would be possible, I'm already worried because it's gonna be an either one long cut or two cuts one down and one up so a 3rd cut for spaying is way too much, I will I will ask for vet opinion anyway. because 5 small balls are all over her belly already and for spaying I think It will need a deep cut.

I will be using some pain killers, I remember for Metacam they gave me two pre filled shrines and asked me to use one every 2 days, I ended up using one only. do you know any pain killer that I can order only .. It will arrive 2 weeks later but worth trying.

Hi Ella, yea poor baby she's having another surgery on monday the 18 :cry: I'm exhausted ! we have to go through all this again ! hope they clean it up all this time, I'm already seeing one of her 3 left nipples starting to have a small nod under it.


I just wish I can go back in time and get my healthy baby back .. I miss the playful kitty she used to be.
 
I'm with you on the worry. The waiting is always so difficult. I knew your date was coming up soon. Still praying for Noni.

(((rhiannon))), hope your doing well dear, I had to choose between this thursday or next monday so I choose monday I thought it's still far away !! it seems not !! I'm really afraid this time cuz I know what happened last time , sometimes it's better not to know :cry:

(((Josie )))) , a big hug from Noni and I, your so kind, wish your were here with us ! I have no one right now ! all my family are out of the country, I'm really scared that I have to face this alone ! It's also a long drive to the vet, so it's difficult to go back and forth , I will be waiting there all the time, with all the stress in the world :cry: can't wait for this to be over, I also hope no further operations are needed, and this will be the last ! her condition is stable for the heart and lungs issue.

Buprenorphine is a great pain med but it is a narcotic so id be surprised if you could order it online. Tramadol is another pain med.

Wishing many many good surgery vines for our Noni.
