Oh I LIKE this! We're STILL BLUE this morning! Popped up to a bit of yellow at PMPS but right back down this morning! We'll see where today takes us - no bounce YET - knock on wood! WOOHOO!!! He was awfully picky about foods this morning, finally had to sprinkle a bit of hard food dust on top to get him to eat...he wanted the dog food with gravy instead. SassyDrooler was also being picky - kept walking away instead of eating...until KT walked toward the bowl. She QUICKLY changed her mind and said "Hey, dat's MINE" and dug in.
Oh CELEBRATE a THANK YOU Dance with us today!!! Mailman honked yesterday....a whole box of FOODS that Sir Rusty didn't want to eat PLUS a big box of test strips for our MAIN meter!!! WOO HOO!!! BIG DANCE!!! THANK YOU Ella/Edward/Rusty/Sweet Stu too! I opened a can when it arrived - KT and Snow thought they were in HEAVEN! Wellness T&G!! Happy Happy kitties! Then it was food time for Leo/Pepper/Moochie - WOW! They agreed!
Leo's still feeling like crap this morning - even putting pressure on his chest causes him to cough. We're going to try the Allerplex as soon as I free up a few dollars from somewhere. He was SO good at the vets yesterday, didn't even give them any trouble when doing xrays - just laid there like he was suppose to lay....vet has a 'new' favorite kitty. He didn't LIKE it but he accepted it 'cos Mama said he had to do it....he's such a special kitty, he truly is another 'old soul in a cat's body'.
EILEEN'S HOME! They released her yesterday evening - got home about dark. One of her daughter's is here with her as she figures out how to do things with her changes. Her hand has recovered almost completely - her thumb doesn't work quite right, her speech is better altho' still a bit slurred. Her face still droops on one side but that is probably permanent. I got her robe repaired and took it to her shortly after she got home. She was SO SO upset about them cutting the sleeve - it was the last thing that DH bought her before he crossed 2 years ago. Luckily it was a fairly straight cut and is ribbed fleece so repair doesn't show too much. I told her we'd just consider it her 'war wound'.
BIG HUGS for all that visit today! Thoughts and prayers for those having lost their fuzzy feetz - Tuesday was hard for both Michelle losing Scrabble and us losing Nuisance the same day, almost the same time even a month ago. We can now celebrate that they LIVE so hearts are mending. PLEASE go visit a 'newbie' today - they're SO scared and confused.
