I think he is having some pain in his rear legs from the spinal disc problem today. Not walking as good and having some difficulty jumping onto te couch today. He is due for his 1/2 baby aspirin tonight, usually he perks up with the walking the next day after it and by 3rd day when he is due again walking is a little worse. So I am thinking not as good of a drop today may be due to some discomfort? But not sure.

Poor Henry :( Here’s hoping the aspirin brings him some relief.
People tell me dental pain can cause high or weird numbers so I would guess any kind of pain would do the same.
Sending you guys some light and healing.....

Thank you Donna. I know he needs a dental; the vet already mentioned it may improve his numbers, she didn't want him to have it when he was in mid to high 500's every AM. She now feels it is probably safe but after his $340.00 trip last month and $140.00 recheck and urine culture a little over a week ago, I just can't afford to do it now, hubby has still not found work and exhausted all unemployment and I only work less than 20 hours a week. Hopefully some more work will come our way soon.
I'm afraid I would be like you though, apprehensive about the dental and anesthesia and what it will do to blood sugar while hes there even though I have full confidence and trust in my vet; its just scary ya know?

Yeah it is scary and expensive but I know it needs to be done. I just hate to take him to the vet and leave him there (for a day). I’ll probably cry like a 5 year old. I know it’s silly but these guys are our babies. And maybe I just need therapy

I already chatted with the new vet about having to spread things out a little for money reasons and he is cool with that. I am sure they hear that from almost everyone these days. Heck, I need a chipped tooth fixed but it’s gonna wait until after Asher’s dental. And my bet is Alby will need a dental too, so we’ll be at this tooth business for awhile :(
We are self employed and our money comes in whenever people see fit to pay us, so it’s a juggle. I am sure it’s rough with your hubby being out of unemployment comp.

I guess we all just have to try to be positive and keep moving ahead, even if it’s small steps.

Poor Henry, so sorry he has to deal with chronic pain. Sending cyber healing vibes your way.
Hopefully tomorrow he'll feel better when the aspirin kicks in.
