Feeling good and normal is good stuff! It will be interesting to see if his numbers come back down now that you've stopped the Duralactin.

Hi Barb,
Missed visiting you for a few days and see that Checkers is a little higher!!! I hope the Duralactin is the culprit and that he'll come down again very soon.
In the meantime, you can catch your breath!

Checks didn't have a chance to see if the Duralactin would work. With the higher numbers and puddin'poo, I needed to see if that was the problem.

He's been eating with his head tilted and pushing his food around in his mouth for a few days. He's missing many teeth, but this is new.
I made an appt for tomorrow for a checkup, bloodwork, and see if he can have dental.
I need to eliminate any reasons for his bg rise, the last few days. He started out so well on the Lev.
I just feel something is not right.

Dear Barb! could it be that Checkers is jealous that Rupie got to go in for 'teeth whitening'??? hm??? we REALLY REALLY have to stop these two boys from hanging out together, they are a very very bad influence! Hoping you have some success with your latest round of investigations, and hoping that if Rupie comes down now that he's got 'purty teethies', maybe Checkers will just follow him, as usual! thes black and white boys really are a handful!

awww poor checks .. he's having a rough time lately .. I really hope that another dental is not needed .. He just had one, not that long ago! If he is having puddin'poo, could he possibly have a cold? If he does, that might effect his smell, which would cause him to push his food around .. just a thought .. I hope whatever it is, is a quick and easy fix ... Hugs to you both!

I hope stopping the Duralactin helps. If Checkers has pudding poo that can't feel good and that could be elevating his numbers too. Are you giving a probiotic?
