3/14/12 Casey AMPS 198 (!)

Hi all!

I took Casey's BG this morning and it was 198, yay! I think I'm still going to shoot since that's pretty close to 200, but I was pretty happy to see a blue PS number! Hopefully we're turning a corner here...
 
Nice job! Yep you have enough info on how Casey is going to handle that dose to start shooting low to stay low. :-D

I wish her neuropathy would ease up, though. I'm giving her one Zobaline a day and she's still walking somewhat on her hocks and rather sloppily at that. How long does it take for that to clear up? I've had her on Zobaline for about a month now.
 
It took Musette about 2 months I think, I know I had her on it at least a month and I think her foster dad had her on it as well for the month that he had her. I gave it to Musette 4 times a day in the beginning I would put it in her food everytime I fed her, since you can't overdose them on it, anything that they can't use they will just pee out.

Kit was on 5mg each morning and it took about 2 months or so? He started walking a teeny bit better, then all of a sudden one day he walked up the stairs again. Just recently he's been walking without a slight twist of his back foot, so we're almost to perfect! I know its hard to watch them walk like that...it was breaking my heart. It will get better... :)

:-D Thanks for the encouragement, everybody! I'll have to see if I can get some syringes with .25u markings, having to guesstimate is a little nerve-wracking!!

She's starting to walk a little better. I started giving her Zobaline twice a day, with her breakfast and dinner. We'll see what happens!
 
There are no syringes with .25 marking, wish there was. The best you are going to find is the ones you probably have which are the ones with half unit marks.
