I wonder if I did something not-quite-right with her shot this morning. Her numbers are off from where she usually is, and I just noticed she's a bit puffy where I shot her this morning. And she yelled at me a bit when I did the injection.

Is it possible I hit something incorrectly with the needle? I didn't think it was a furshot, but maybe the needle almost came out the other side of the tent??? As always, any thoughts are appreciated.

I would try moving the shot location around a bit. I used to do left in the morning and right at night, when I shot in the scruff. Now I shoot in the side, so there's a LOT more room to move around.

You're definitely right, Dyana. We have been shooting her side, but we haven't meandered too far from the little spot the vet shaved for us. Now that we're used to giving shots, we need to spread things around.

Her daytime numbers were so wonky yesterday, I just feel like I didn't do something right in the morning. We'll see what today brings...
