Good Morning, Daylight Savings Time Sunday,
A short night made shorter by the fact that I neglected to take yesterday's pre-time-change alarm off my watch, so we got up a 1/2 hour too early (but went immediately btb, even Rusty, who began immediately to sing and dream in his sleep). Good test, good shot (hooray! no fur shot), and breakfast eaten enthusiastically in 2 sittings. We played with Big Bug and Red Ears and the Cube and now Rusty is relaxing on the radiator. It's 30 degrees and snowing pretty hard and the scene outside looks lovely again (all that rotten old snow is covered with nice new snow). I'm not so sure that it will be good to ski in, however. Maybe to snowshoe. We'll have to see what's what later.
On Thursday I ordered the FreeStyle Lite meter, strips, and an insulin cool case for travel from American Diabetes Wholesale and yesterday (Sat.) the package arrived. (It was sent out in the late afternoon on Thursday). That is really fast service! But we don't have the package yet because by the time we got to the post office yesterday the window had already closed (Saturday is a half day at our P.O.). Something to look forward to tomorrow.
