Morning ~O) all is well with Maggie today. I had a nice surprise this morning. Mags was crying for me to pick her up onto the bed. I had almost given up on the steps. I was making the bed first, and Mags's patience pants must have worn out, as she proceeded up the two steps and onto the bed all by herself. :-D I gave her kisses for doing it all by herself. She just did it a second time. So now when I'm gone Mags can get on the bed by herself. So I guess she just wanted to use the steps on her own and when she was ready.
Four P's today, no prezzies for Detective Poo's report since she did make a sizeable deposit yesterday. She has a good appy. Her AMPS is a little high from snacking on Cowboy Cookout overnight. It tends to act like a medium carb for Mags, even though it has only five carbs, I believe.
Looking forward to Mannie kitteh Barista delivery, always the best!

I'm meeting a good friend I used to work with for lunch today, and looking forward to catching up
Temps are to reach 80 today, a bit hot! Have a nice Wednesday.

Hi, Ann, that's great news about the steps! Yay Maggie! What a brave girl. Sometimes it takes our kitties a little time to adjust (even to things that help them out!). Enjoy your day!

Yay on the steps!!!! That made me smile. I'm going to be trying Cowboy Cookout with Trix. We used to feed some of those fun and funky Merrick's foods years ago, but I honestly can't remember if Trix liked them or not. We'll see how she does with it...like Mags, she can be so carb sensitive.

Hi Josie, I think you're right. The steps were something on her turf, and she needed to adjust. It will be so nice at night when she gets on the bed by herself. I'll get more REM sleep! :-D

Hi Amy, I hope Trixie takes to the Cowboy Cookout. The Merrick flavors hav some of the little vegggies or chunks in them. CC isn't too bad though, and the phosphorus is okay for us.

Is that photo in your profile new? Maggie is much darker, stripier, and beautiful, than I already thought she is :-D

Awww, good for Miss Mags to venture up the steps by herself :-D

Hi Ann. Congratulations Maggie.....you did it. Up the stairs all by yourself!!! She made a nice slide into the Lagoon. I hope she has a surfing day planned.

Enjoy your luncheon with your friend. I found that lunch with a friend from work is much more enjoyable when you can go home or shopping when is over rather than back to work. :lol:

Hi Barb, aww......thanks for the compliment on pretty Mags! Someone made the Avatar for me at Maggie's OTJ party, with the background, etc. I believe it was C.D. It does look like Mags will give permission. Just some more Cowboy Cookout is keeping her surfing.

Hi John, thanks on her slide. So funny on the lunch with friend from work and going home afterwards, rather than work. :lol:

Thanks Melissa, she's proud of herself, too. I knew she could do it. I notice she doesn't use them exiting the bed.

Out of the Green Lagoon and most likely back in tonight. This was Cowboy Cookout and some Evo Chicken & Turkey.

Hi Ann :lol: :lol: even today after using the steps twice on her own, she tried asking me to pick her up. I didn't budge, and she did get up on her own. I rewarded with some treats.

Hi Courtney, even our kitties are getting into the patience pants. :lol:
 
Sounds like Mags might be set in her ways. Or perhaps she doesn't want you to feel left out, maybe she thinks you'd miss helping her onto the bed :lol: .
Does she mind the Evo when it's mixed w/the CC? Ripley lately will eat anything, as long as there's some of her precious Cookout in it.
