Re: 3/13 Hank's AMPS 231
Hi Sienne-
Chart updated. I did give his usual dose, maybe on the skinny side. Honestly, because I have not been so great w/ shots technique, most of them have had a bubble despite thumping & tapping..they inevitably have remained. I've used both BD & Relion syringes. (same manuf. as the GNP you use) So he likely has not gotten an absolute full U every time anyway. it's such a small amount, I have no idea how ya'll do the .1, .15, ...
The thing he, he also still has 300 #'s, and has all along.
I will try to do more spot checks now that I'm in the strips again. I will be out some today, but will try to catch a few when I can to see if we can't get more info. to assist in gauging where he is and what's going on. He looks good, more alert, sleeping less, etc..
I don't understand all the rest, the big picture part.
I have not yet done a curve and will probably wait to do one until after next week. Will ask for help when the time comes, and then to interpret.
He sure is getting tired of the pricks. It was easier when he felt bad. I know his little ears hurt. But he sure loves the treat part.
He jumped up on the testing area this AM looking for those.
And you were right, his coat is already improving, I noticed that today. My goodness I LOVE this little boy.
So, too late for any adjustment this AM. It may have beens slightly less.
I will try for keytone test if I catch him pee-ing (though now w/ insulin back in him,is it necessary?)
I will get some extra checks in.
