[MJ+Donovan]

Today is a day to share some joy amid some very sad times here lately...

Donovan's started his OTJ trial (a.k.a. Bazooka) one year ago today.
Last week I gave away his last unused cartridge.
He gave me some BGs that concerned me recently (check his SS if you dare...), but the most recent BG on Friday evening was a lovely 83 :mrgreen:. Donovan had a rough start; vet prescribed Vetsulin, and try as I might to get good numbers on it, it just didn't happen. When LLers post those icky red and black numbers, I feel your pain. I remember it well. The change when I finally switched to Levemir was incredible. Honestly, I still feel guilty when I see others struggling to regulate their babies. Compared to many of you, Donovan and I had it relatively easy. And I take nothing for granted -- I still test him regularly, and try my darndest to keep him away from what I call "candy" (HC fuds). He will always be a sugar cat.

Thank you all for your encouragement, support, and understanding. Donovan thanks you. Butthead thanks you. I will continue to pay it forward as much as I can.

Celi. if that foldie contemplating the grass was Butthead, there would *be* no grass. He LOVES his greens. He was taken outside for some fresh air earlier and immediately searched out pathetic grass remnants now that most of the snow here has melted. Donny has a grass fetish too. Munch munch chew chew, and then more often than not, *gaaack*ptooey*. Preferably while they are still outdoors... :roll:
