Hi Everyone,
We are back home in the Adirondacks, arriving in the late afternoon. Stu was a good passenger (6 hours in the car). He ate a bit in the car, but had a good late lunch and dinner when we got home. He bounced into pink this A.M. from yesterday's "adventure", but at PMPS was in high blue. He was so eager to get home that he woke us up at around 3:30 A.M. by tearing around with his toys, "working" on his paper bag and on a lamp. The snow here had really receded (it was warmer here this afternoon than it had been in NYC) and Stu was delighted to be able to explore ground that he hadn't seen since last fall. At one point, instead of walking over a patch of icy snow, he made a beautiful, arcing leap of about 3 feet from bare ground to bare ground. I don't think he could have done that a few months ago, and it is an indication of how far he has come.
We want to thank everyone for keeping an eye on Stu yesterday. It means a lot to have such great advice and support. We'll see you tomorrow. Stu is gearing up to cook a scrumptious stew. He wants to put mouse in it, and says all his friends would consider that a special treat even if it's not exactly St. Patrick's Day fare.
