Very pink start to the day. Simon was looking for Cleo this morning. Cleo used to sit in a cat bed set up in one of our small closets. We even had a cat door cut out so she could get in and out. Simon went over to the closet this morning and stuck his head thru the cat door to see if Cleo was there ):

Please send healing thoughts to my mom today. We meet with the oncologist to see what stage her breast cancer is and treatment options, most likely chemo then surgery. Please pray for me to stay strong.

Simon will miss his sister for a while yet.... :sad: just keep telling him what happened to sweet Cleo....that seemed to have helped me with Comet as he really looked for Rocket the first week...and it was heartbreaking to watch that :cry:

(((Georgia))) thinking of you today and sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers for your Mom. It's good you can be there with her today. Sending strength vines for you. Oh how sad qith Simon looking in the closet. Simon is missing his sister and grieving, too. Please give Simon lots of hugs and scritches from us,

Hi Georgia,

I'm sorry to hear about Cleo. I just found out. I'm so sorry for your loss. Having to deal with that and your mother's illness at the same time is difficult. I'll be sending you strength vines. I do hope all goes in the best possible manner for your mother.

Poor Simon will miss Cleo for a while if they were very close. Racci still misses her mom, Calli, and its been over a year since we lost her to cancer. I also kept talking about it to Racci and gave her extra love and attention and it seemed to help a little.

Unbelievable good news to tell y'all. My mom's breast cancer has not spread anywhere else in her body! And there is a 90% chance (not all tests are back) that she will just need to take the oral meds and not traditional chemo. And if all goes well with that, possibly no surgery. We so needed good news and we got it! All the prayers helped.

Georgia, this is terrific news! We are so happy for you and your mom.
Simon will be OK, but it is important for him to grieve. I know that you will help him through this tough time (and he will help you).
