The time change combined with having to work today has this been waaaaaay behind schedule...I think this is by far the latest I've ever opened Trixie's condo!

Nothing terribly exciting to report. I got her new meter (Arkray Vital) the other day, and finally ran a side-by-side (same drop of blood) test with her old Confirm at PMPS. The Vital gave me the 134; the Confirm gave me a 152. Not TOO far off, but a bit more than I expected. Still, the Vital is the meter we'll be using...but I am going to do a few more side-by-sides, just out of curiousity.

I also fattened her dose up tonight. I didn't go with a full .25U increase because she is giving me SOME greens, but not as consistently as I would like to see. We'll see how this pans out...

Gotta get moving on dinner...will check in on everyone later this evening!

Hope the fat dose is working well for Trixie and you're seeing plenty of :mrgreen:
 
Interestingly, she was completely flat on the new Vital, but dropped on the Confirm. Starting tomorrow, the Vital will be IT, so I don't make myself crazy!
 
Hi Amy, thanks for stopping by our condo earlier. Yes, take it from me, using two meters will drive ya crazy. The Arkay vital sounds like a good meter, and when you get a number you're unsure of, you can always compare with the Confirm. Sorry you had to work coupled with this crazy time change that has us and our kitties all confused, not everyonem just some of us! Hope you can have a glass of wine and relax a little tonight. Good luck with the fattened dose.
