What a difference a day makes... Mannie's horrific bounce from the day before has cleared, and he had a exceptional day yesterday. AM cycle was a gradual descent to the greens, where he surfed for a few into a green 74 pmps. :mrgreen: It was a nice PM cycle, greens and low blues. I did feed him a MC food at ps, to bump him up a little, hoping to set up a nice green surf for the remainder of the cycle. I think we were successful - he stayed in the 90-110 range through nadir, ending up with a 257 at amps today. Nicely done Mannie! cat_pet_icon

This morning I found Mannie sound asleep on his nanner pile. :cool: I had to wake him for testing... and was, as always, greeted with a soft meow, squinty eyes and purrs. Breffis was preceded with his happy feed me dance, eaten with gusto, clean plate club status remains intact. :-D :cool: Auto feeder listened to, but ignored: what else is new there. :roll: We have a slight break in the weather this AM. Mannie was begging to go out onto the deck, so he did. It is so cute to watch him sit there, put his face up into the breezes, and sniff, let the breezes ruffle his whiskers and his fur, just taking it all in. He has now taken off for his post breffis nap, onto of the nanners - where else? :lol: They have of course been artfully arranged.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Good morning guys .. so glad mannies numbers are coming back down you had such a nice run yesterday .. Hopefully the blues and greens come back later on today and that you are able to go to your swim meet .. and that video was to cute! Hope you guys have a great day!

Hi Michelle. I always get a kick out of Mannie's morning antics. I wish I could let mine go out and enjoy the breeze. They get to go out and sniff on the screen porch. Checks sniffs every inch of the bottom of the screen to see if a neighbor kitty was out there duing the night. Sometimes he gets to sniff a racoon that was around.
Hope Mannie gives you some really nice numbers today. :smile:

Morning Michelle. So nice to see Mannie having some nice greens and blues. It looks like Mannie wants that personal attention vs. the auto feeder. :lol: I wish I could take Maggie outside, but I don't quite trust her to get spooked by something and run away. I hope Mannie gives you permission to attend the swim meet. Have a nice day.

Great day yesterday ! Sorry I'm missing so many things but repotting season is almost over. Hey Mannie, are you giving mom a break today? Don't go too far that direction. :sad: I couldn't get to the video have to figure out how to get on Facebook.

Hi barb - Mannie was funny this morning - he could not wait to get out on the deck. He knew it wasn't raining... I am grateful that he knows and does not violate the boundaries. I can let him out there and not worry. :-D

Hi Ann - and Maggie - oh yes, a given I think on the personal attention. I am grateful that Mannie doesn't seem to spook easily, so I can let him out there and know he won't run off. He usually makes a beeline for the house if there is something questionable going on. Phew!

Hi Ann - and Tess, you too! no worries - we all now you are busy, and well, sometimes we need a break anyways... good luck with the meter rep! Give him an earful in the Infinity too. :lol: You'll figure facebook out OK - it's not too much different than how we do things here. registration is a snap, and then you can be a detailed, or not, that you ant to be. I use it primarily as a host for my photos and videos - it is nice in a way to have all of it under one umbrella.

Hi Roni! nope -we aren't really affected by the tsunami - no warnings here. we are off the Sound, protected by the peninsula, so will remain fairly unaffected. Might see some higher than expected tides, but not much else. and yeah on the busy boy Mannie, it was nice to see him level tings out for awhile yesterday. I hope he will do it again. :-D

Moonie!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! let's do it! I did to get Spot - he is lonely, recovering from being sick and stuff, so after the KTSS we will come and camp out on your beach. SWEET! Grillin' too. :cool: :cool: :-D ~~ Mannie

Liking where Mannie is headed today!! Bounce was, once again, much less than the previous, and he seems to be clearing it smoothly!! Congrats!!

Love the report this morning. Squinty eyes are always my favorite... "WHAT IZ YOU DOIN? I WAZ SEEPIN'!!!" Willie was making the sniffy face this morning when I opened the window in the bedroom for him. I always wish I could read his mind in that moment. LOL

Hi Michelle, How was the swim meet? I'm glad you got to go. Also glad that you are in no danger from the Tsunami. I guess I'll have to join FaceBook if I want to see your grandson's video. Well, since I know that he is a beautiful baby, maybe I'll just stay off of FaceBook!!

uhhhhhh - stupid meter! we will always blame the meter, not the cat, and the new ones will be order tomorrow... ran out of time today. anyways: 352 @ +9, 451 @ +11, and 419 At PMPS, and there is that spike and double dip that he seems to really like.

YAY! Had a great afternoon - swim meet in the AM which was fun. I saw some great races, some not so great, but so that goes. Went hiking, a short local one, when I got home. so.... now I am toast and am looking forward to an evening of pizza, and tasty beverages. :lol: :cool: :-D :-D

Hi Christie - THX! and yeah on the big brother thing - I remember those days well... DGS is a cutie - adorable face. :-D and yes on the sniffy face thing - I let Mannie out for a while after my hike. He just sits out here and sniffs and sniffs and sniffs. I finally has to go out and grab him, much to his dismay...

Hi Marjorie - well.... we were yellow now we are "up there" - I keep telling me the meter over inflates everything, but still. on the baby sitting: we start on 4/1. so soon! i hope it goes well - he is, for the most part, easy to care for. I still need to get somethings ready at the house here, not exactly baby ready yet. He will come here - just cuz of Mannie.

Hi Ella - meet was good. Some of the racing was good - it was fun for me just to sit and watch - takes me back to the days when my boys were in the pool. had fun then still do. and me too on the tsunami. The images coming out of Japan are just devastating. too funny on facebook - i will have to load it into youtube.

Hi Karrie - :lol: :lol: no doubt he will - on the stay strong... it drives me crazy! The feeder will make "that noise" - his ears perk up, he does hear it. but go eat? noooooooooooooooooo. why do that when the beans always cave and go and bring him to it. :roll: and yes on the DGS smile - it really does. Smiles like that are so genuine that they really do melt your heart.

Willie - i hope your bean was cool when we came and grabbed you for the beach. fun huh! I love the fire pits we get going there, and the cooking - yum! see you tomorrow too? I hope to go back to Gracie's and do some more hang gliding off of the mountains there. way too cool dude. ~~ Mannie
