Not happy with his PMPS, but I was gone for 3 hrs having fluid drained from my knee.

Quite possibly one of the most miserable and painful things I've ever had done. Now I'm laid up for 2 weeks, elevated w/ice. Like I need another medical issue. ohmygod_smile

Yep, big drop. Lucian wants you to experience everything, I guess. I am sure it isn't a good night to have to monitor, though, with your sore knee.

That's better, not near the drop as the 1st 4.75 hrs.

As for the knee, it's not bad now. Dr gave me Celebrex ( he had a bunch of samples ) for the pain/inflammation and I'm amazed how well it worked. It's a super anti-inflammatory, as I understand it. Considering I'm on the Fentanyl patch for pain to start with, most things don't work well for me, pain wise. I noticed, just a few hrs ago, that the pain in the knee was 90% gone and that's surprising. It is very depressing though, that I have suddenly developed, yet another, medical issue. And it will be 11 months before I get my medicare. Just have to hang in there until then.

Oh I have had that done - that needle is so .... anyway, ouch for you.

I am going to have to get me some pain patches - WHAT!!!! I can barely walk and have to use crutches to get up the stairs. Then metro goes and builds a town center where the parking lot used to be and builds a parking garage 300 feet away from the entrance. This morning the elevator next to handicapped parking wasn't working so the construction crew put me in their golf cart and took me to street level so I could make that slow unsteady, football-field-long-walk through the muddy construction site.... Oh yes, I think it is time to get me some pain patches. Advil and Biofreeze just isn't cutting it.

Hope you are on your feet soon!
