Hi LL,

A bouncey start for Mr. K, but that's my fault. I gave him an asthma attack last night... I was brushing his teeth, like I've done hundreds of times, and the stress apparently triggered a fit. He wasn't protesting or struggling, but was obviously upset by the ordeal. He really does not like his head being held, and I have to hold his head still in order to get those back teeth. I was able to stop it with an actuation of Albuterol... but still feeling very guilty. Yesterday would have marked a whole week without asthma, but now we are back to square one today. Other than that, he is doing good today. All 5 P's (he forgives easily) and he is happily sunning himself in his upstairs window.

Healing vines to Georgia and Johnny, Angie, KT, Trixie, Jake, Noni, and all other Beans and puds in need. Congratulations to Wink and Deb on making it OTJ!

I hope everyone has a lovely day.

Re: 3/11 Kismet AMPS 150, +3 132

Hi Courtney. I'm sorry to hear that Kismet had an asthma attack. Fortunately you were prepared to treat it. I hope he continues his surf in the blue.

Have a great day.

Hi John, The silver lining is that we discovered that stress is indeed a trigger... we're never sure what causes the attacks, so this gives us a bit more information about him.

He has slid into the lagoon despite the asthma stress  Breathe easy and surf safely, Kis.

I don't know what I am going to do about brushing his teeth :? He's never had a reaction like this before. Bummer.

Hi Courtney, nice slide into green for Kismet! Sorry about the asthma attack, but sounds like you got it under control, and all is forgiven. I place some paste on my finger and try and rub it on Maggie's teeth, but do you think that might stess Kismet more?

Awww, Kismet forgave his mama for the tooth-brushing ordeal :-D
What a lovely day, anyway......little dip in the lagoon, and gorgeous blues!

I'm glad you know now, that stress triggers his asthma. Many other triggers?

I'll have to tell my BIL, he's probably triggering my sis's asthma

Hi Courtney & Kismet,

Sorry to hear about the asthma attack. Is it absolutely necessary to brush his teeth? My vet gave me a cat-specific dental rinse once, but Rusty would have nothing to do with it. (but then again, he only has 5 teeth!)

I'm glad the attack was a mild one and it looks like Kismet is having a really nice string of numbers today. Maybe back to the lagoon tonight?

have a fine evening. Thanks for visiting us,

Ella & Rusty

Awww, sweet Kismet. Of course he forgives easily...he loves you! Glad you were able to get it under control quickly. Stinks when we try to do something good for them and end up causing something else. Hope you all are having an enjoyable evening (even if it is a Monday!) Sleep well!!!

Hi Courtney, thanks for the vines and the birthday wishes over the last few days. I'm sorry to hear that Kismet had another asthma attack. Poor boy! Keep up the lovely numbers Kismet - and don't get too stressed!
