yesterday's condo
Tasha's bg was 134 this morning I took it a half hour early she seemed hungry which is rare for her. Maybe she has "dawn effect". Will test 3-4 hours after she eats.


She also had a fur ball throw up incident this morning. Would that effect anything?

Do I check again in 3 hours after feeding? Or let it go until the PM old PS time?

Linda, forgive if you've already given this information, but I can't remember or didn't see it if you did. Are you feeding small meals to Tasha throughout the day (or is Tasha the kitty the free feeds?). I would say give Tasha her little meal now and don't check until PMBG time.

For Quincy, I have definitely found a relationship between his vomiting and an elevated BG. It comes down later in the day, but if he throws up something btwn 1am and 4am, which is usually when it happens, when I test him at 5:30am, there's usually a blip up.

Hope Tasha brings herself down!

@ Deb....Tasha is a grazer so all she eats is a tiny little at a time. I leave food out for her. I was wondering if I need to check her in three hours or not. I will wait until her PM time then.

yup - those pesky furballs.

we went thru the same thing during our trial, if u take a peek at our trial week in our spreadsheet you'll see Luna's pukey days and a rise in BG...usually took him a few hours to come back down, but he always did.

good that you note these things in your comments. keep an eye out for the full moon too, next time it comes around, kitties tend to act up around there too.

Hope you are right about that!

Actually day 3 officially starts in an hour with her PMBG. I started in the evening. I hope it is a good one!
