3/10 Niki - today’s pm question

Just me again - I appreciate everyone’s patience and expertise with our sugar cat!

So tonight Niki was at 97. So he got no shot again (second night in a row).

We had decreased his dose to 3.25 units this morning as suggested. Do we decrease again tomorrow morning to 3 units? Is all of this (the no shot values) a normal situation? Are these no shot days hurting his regulation (or lack thereof)?

Niki is sure keeping you on your toes! And showing you what switching to all wet food can do.

How about trying 2.5 units tomorrow? I wouldn’t normally suggest that much a drop in dose, but we need to get to a point you can shoot twice a day. And it is easier to go up in dose than down.

Thank you Wendy! We will go to 2.5 tomorrow morning. He’s such a happy little guy and relatively patient with all the testing so we are grateful for that.

I will remember to post the previous thread next time, I promise! It’s hard to do it easily on my tablet but so know it’s important.
