Hellloooo LL and Happy Caturday!

I'm back in civilization and now have internet again! Leo was absolutely terrified of the cable guy who just left, he was actually shaking, i have never seen him act that way around a stranger before. But its not affecting his numbers at all.

Leo had a so-so week with his DGP's, he was pink ALL freakin' week except for one day when he was green, i pick him up and bring him home and he's green for me :-D I was really feeling down when i got home yesterday, wondering why he's so high, but i need to remember that its the cat and how he's feeling and never mind the numbers. Speaking of picking him up and bringing him home last night, WOW he was a different cat during the car ride, i finally picked up some Rescue Remedy and rubbed some on his ears just like he told the AC he wanted done and he purred the whole way home, what a difference that made, no crying, no shaking, just a very happy cat!!! :-D I stayed as calm and zen as i could and i think that made a difference as well.

We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning, Leo's diet is still in effect and he's been very good about it so far. He lost 1 oz while with DGP's last week.......hey, its a start right? I'm hoping he'll earn himself some HC today since its been forever since he's had a taste of it.....cross your fingers and paws that he does.

I hope all the kitties and beans had a terrific week and hopefully i can catch up with everyone today.

Welcome home, Tracy! Very cool on the car ride. :cool: I'm glad to hear that. And Leo is ok about his diet. I think an ounce a week sounds about right.

That's so great that Leo had a good car ride. That is such an issue with Daphne. I hear a lot about the Rescue Remedy, maybe I'll give it a try.

Good news on the diet too… Daphne is now on a diet also, in fact we have a new scale and will be able to weigh by oz too.

Hope Leo has a better day now that he cable guy left :-D

Some of those cable guys are scary! But look at Leo's numbers! He missed his mama. How do you like your new place? Leo obviously likes it.

Wow on Leo and the rescue remedy. That is just way cool. Seems the AC was right - wow, and good to go from here on out when he has to travel.

Love these numbers - YES! LEO IS GREEN! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Try not to be discouraged... sometimes they are just being cats,a n try as hard as we do, it just doesn't make too much difference. They will do what they do. Mannie sure has over the course of the past 4 years... been many a night and day when my frustration level was way max'd out. I try not to go there anymore. He's happy, so I focus on that. The numbers will be what they are, and just aren't the whole picture. You've done well with Leo. Congrats on that!

Good deal on the diet. I've tried with Mannie - he really needs to dump 2 pounds... and I just can't seem to get them off....

psssst.... Leo: did you get those really good fuds?

Green, losing weight and home w/ the bean. All is right in LeoLand! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I'm so happy the car ride worked well this time. I've tried the Rescue Remedy and don't know if it has much effect on Tess. I'm glad it or the combo of changes worked for Leo.

Welcome back to civilization, Tracy! What a beautiful cycle for your boy, Leo. I like the Rescue Remedy, too. I used it on my GA kitty before traveling to the Vet and it helped calm him. Enjoy your Saturday in your new home.

Yay for rescue remedy, it is fantastic stuff - good for stressed beans too!

Great numbers from Leo today :mrgreen:

I'm really sus on the cable man, if Leo reacted like that he's probably an axe murderer or something!!!

I had to laugh at Serryn's comment, because i thought the exact same thing!! :lol: :lol: Leo is usually a little lover and will love up on anyone and everyone, so this cable guy business must mean Leo can sense evil :lol: :lol:

Michelle, Leo got some MC fuds, some of his fave 8% Sophisticat chicken hearts and liver......and it was yummmmmy :-D Its been so long since he's had a little treat that i had to give him some.

Sleep is exactly what i need, this darn cough/cold is hanging on for dear life and i know the only way its going to hit the road is sleeeeeeeeeep!

I bet he's happy to be home with mama; no wonder his numbers came right down. So he'll let you get a good night's sleep and head back to the green lagoon tomorrow. :-D

Welcome bacK, Tracy! I agree with the others: cats have that sense...they know who to trust. Fortunately, the cable guy came and went without incident!!

well . . . on the plus side, you saw Mr Greenie today! AND then, leo is giving you the night off so you can sleep!

the LL "rule" is that you get to keep mr greenie all day. well, that's what someone said was the rule for acro cats, but i think we can share it with everyone. :lol: :mrgreen:

Looks like the bounce wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be, at least he's not red or pink.

Welcome back Tracy! Glad the Rescue Remedy helped Leo and so glad to see him in :mrgreen: today and by all means keep Mr. :mrgreen: on your condo.
