yesterday's condo
Jude urinated outside the box again yesterday, so he's still experiencing some pain that is making him not want to use the litter box. I think I'm going to take him back into the vet this week and have another cysto to see if the UTI is completely gone. After the last round of antibiotic injections, we performed another analysis and his urine was clear, but since we didn't do a culture and sensitivity on that original urine analysis, I feel that I need to recheck to make sure that the infection didn't return. If his urine is clear, I'll know that this is FIC, and if that's the case, I've decided to go ahead and try the Buprenorphine. I have been using Gaba during his flares, hoping that it would alleviate the pain, but if he's still having an FIC flare, and this has gone on for a while, the Gaba isn't working on the pain. Some FIC kitties take Gaba daily for life and take Bupe to calm the flares. It's complicated.
Wishing everyone a good, safe day!
