What the heck, Atticus? I said 60s, not 40s! He's 42 this morning!

I did sleep in quite a bit (after first getting up at 4:45 to go outside and separate fighting backyard cats), so his test and meal were about two and a half hours later than normal. He usually has two breakfasts by now. But when I woke up, both cats were sleeping peacefully next to me. There hadn't been any biscuit-making on my face, or insistent meowing in my ear, or the biting of blankets, or any of the things they usually do to wake me up. Maybe they knew I needed my sleep.

We never saw anything as low as 42 when he was on the insulin! He was acting just fine, though. Hopefully this isn't anything to worry about. Tomorrow is our last day of the trial!

I hope everyone has a great day today! (LOL; I've slept so late, it looks like Atticus is the last condo to go up!)

Hi guys .. wow, bet that opened up your eyes! Mocha had a 40 something or other just a few weeks ago .. of course I raced right here and asked if it was ok .. which it was .. enjoy it! :mrgreen:

you must've needed the sleep!

the 42 is SUPER! we've seen lots of 40's in cats that are off of insulin. they can't become hypoglycemic without insulin being injected, so no worries.

day 13 - that means tomorrow is a Very Special Day in Atticus' life! :mrgreen:

So, just so I know: we wait until after PMBG tomorrow before we party, right? And then break out the sparklers!
 
How nice to have a 42 you don't need to do anything about! I've told Vyktor about the party, he is very excited. We love to dance - well maybe it's just me but he tolerates it for his MumBean :lol:
